Nice to see there are other underwear supporters out there:D
We come for the gameplay, and stay for the sex.
=P
Btw, YOU GUYS BETTER MAKE SOME GOOD LOVE-MAKING SCENES.
Seriously, people joke about DAO characters having sex with their underwear on, but at least we got some sort of VISUAL CUE AS TO WHAT WAS HAPPENING.
In DA2 they just make out, fade to black, and we assume they had sex. Not to mention, everyone but Hawke and Merrill remained clothed throughout the whole thing! WTF? When I want to get my Hawke laid, I want to at least see some of it!
You guys remember those early peeks at the romance scenes? The screenshots? Everyone looks naked there.
Isabela, Hawke, Fenris, etc. What happened to that? Especially Isabel's one.

SO disappointing.

I think they wanted the companions to stay in their iconic outfits, so we could tell them apart. And also the cosplay argument.

At least what they were doing in da2 was physical possible. I don't even know what they were attempting to do in all of the da:o scenes.
...
I actually think they should look at mass effect 1/3 on how to make love scenes tastefull. That was good.

So your honest opinion is that BioWare games - whose love scene content is at most approximately <0.5% of the total experience - need to have nudity and sex positions so you can what, watch them over and over again?
On second thought, I really don't want to know what you come for.

I find it hilarious that you're taking my joke so seriously, as if I really meant that I dont replay BW games for anything other than the sex.

Right.
You're "joking" the same way someone "jokes" when they ask someone out and are turned down.
Nudity and more explicit sex scenes add... what, precisely, that any romance scene can't achieve without them?
BioWare isn't doing a videogame adaptation of Shame, so verisimilitude isn't really served either.

lol.
Drop the act, dude.
I made a joke about being able to run around naked with my entire team, a few other folks were like "yeah me too" and then I made that joke about staying for sex.
That's it.
Stop blowing that out of proportion just to make yourself seem clever.
I did say in another thread that they should make better sex scenes, but only becase DA2's felt so weak. There really wasnt any kind of tangible emotion. It didnt feel like my Hawke was really getting intimate with -insert person here- and it comparison to Origins, it felt a bit empty.
Oh, did you not know? The act of making love is more than just seeing another person naked. It's about emotion, and the DA2 scenes lacked that emotion which made Origins' scenes feel a bit more magical.
But hey, you're assuming I'm just sitting here being "Mr. Show Me Boobs" because you're SO smart and you've figured me out all from a couple of bad jokes. What do I know, right?
=/
If I wanted to stare at virtual boobs, it wouldnt be here. There are literally hundreds of better places for that than a DA game.

I can't type coherently anymore, I'm laughing so hard.
Okay, that's an act. I stopped laughing after I realized you were serious.
Magical and emotional must be your way of saying awkward and embarrassing.

Says the guy asserting Origins' love scenes are something from which to draw inspiration from, not add a laugh-track to.

Sorry for being emotionally invested in a game series. I suppose I should be stoic, stagnant and robotic like you and the DA2 romances. That's what all the cool kids are doing, right?

Strawman with bonus ad hominem. Though I suppose calling it that would be "trying to sound clever."
"Stoic, stagnant, and robotic" does not describe the DA2 romance scenes in any way, shape, or form. Isabela acts like Isabela, Merrill acts like Merrill, Anders acts like Anders, and Fenris acts like Fenris.
In what sense would Isabela accidentally forgetting she has a knife down there and playfully tossing it aside be evidence of any of the buzzwords you're haphazardly throwing around?
"Robotic" does, on the other hand, describe the "sex" in DAO.
The DAO scenes were poorly-done Ikea erotica set to an Enya soundtrack. Let's get real.
Bonus!

I'm just sorry that you cant get over your childish hangups with the Origins animation to appreciate it.
I described the romances like that because they feel BORING. They dont really go anywhere. And, herp derp, there's more to the romances than the sex scene. I was describing the relationship as a whole. It didnt feel as real as Origins.
So yeah, eat ****.

And some good looking magewear is a must. I got rid of the ugly DAO robes as soon as I could. A few of the DA2 robes were ok, mostly because they didn't look like robes at all but most I never used.
Robes would be ok if they are short enough or split, looks somewhat protective and easy to move in and show some good boots. No sandals or thin dainty shoes walking around a country or going into battle please.
