Am I right or wrong?

I believe Bioware is choosing NOT to cater to the MTV generation of "kids" who are 13-25.  Instead Bioware is choosing to cater to their more mature audience and striving to push the limits of todays youth.

Bioware i respect you for this.  Most Bioware writers are probably over the age of 28 right?

My challenge to the young generation of ME players is this.  Try to think like a mature adult instead of a silly kid wanting a boss fight at the end of the game.  I say this with the deepest respect possible since the youth have to carry the torch. Consider your limits pushed.

If I come off arrogant then I apologize in advance.

So your saying that since I like boss fights that makes me a child?
im sorry but that statement in it self is loco
Like I said many a times in the story mode sure you dont need a boss fight
but in many rpgs that I my self have played over the years have boss fights its kinda like a no brainer
a Game like ME you just expect there to be a boss fight not sit down and have a cup of tea with Harbringer and ask nicely if he would invade another time because at the moment my shepard needs to wash her hair

I consider my self to be a mature adult but when it comes to computer games being mature or not should have nothing to do with anything

You're right to a certain degree, OP.

Sadly, this game had neither.

Troll or not, I agree with the OP's stance on Boss fights, and the great thing about ME3's ending is that there wasn't any.

In this respect Marauder Shields > Saren/Sovereign >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> human reaper...

This is not about boss fights its about poor writing, abandoning themes present throughout the series and of course lack of continuity but of course you knew that because you are just a troll.

I'm over 30, and I don't find the ending "deep" nor "thought provoking".

I'm sure BW wanted discussions about "which ending is the best choice?" and many speculations about "what happens now?" but the endings as-is are not bitter-sweet, they are just bitter.  Any of the endings pretty much destroys the galaxy civilization as we knew it and seems to destroy/strand thousands of Aliens at Earth some who can't eat locally grown food.  Stranding your crew that we've spent three games and countless hours (over 1,800

The Reapers = "We save you from being killed by your syntheticis by killing you with ours" and the ME3 endings are hardly better.

I was hoping for endings that would vary (depending on how hard to you worked) from Reapers win to Shepard win & lives.

I'm fine without a boss battle, and I enjoy philosophical deep thought as long makes sense. But the ending of ME3 was the philosophical equivalent of crapping in my mouth.

Well, imo they didn't take it far enough, the "reaper did all the talking" I wanted a truly stimulating conversation with epic lines and paragon/renegade interrupts. If not it would have had to be very good for me to accept less... I dont requier a boss fight but if there is no bossfight to end a 3 game storyline and saga then there has to be a meaningful conversation where you settle all that grief and issues that have been nagging at you for years!! You finaly meet the oen individual responsible for all this sufferign and the one you have been fighting all along.. You made it all the way here... And there is nothing to say?

Cultured, matured adults never refer to themselves as 'cultured, mature adults'.

This wannabe intellectualistic ending isn't thought provoking or mentally stimulating. Confusion like this is something that happens when emo kids mistake dark with profound and intellectual with satisfying. This is something appreciated by  hipster's that think this type of thing is actually an example of art. It's poorly written deus ex machina with a monumental amount of plot holes. It's insulting and about as low brow as you can get when reasoned out. It's BioWare leaning on their fan base to work things out for themselves rather than be troubled to write a satisfying conclusion on their own. This takes real work, skill and talent in my opinion. What we got is the laziest and most inept form of writing there is.

The anger comes from the fact that this garbage doesn't fit with the rest of the Mass Effect games, including the third installment itself. It's also well below the writing standards that BioWare has set for themselves in other games and again, even this one. And the problem here isn't that we didn't understand the ending, it's that we understand the implications of each ending all too well and hate them all.
