Actually I did read it.I just find it amusing that if someone post they disliked the ending they are attacked.
That is ok apparently.Pro enders jump on folks like maggots on meat.See if someone enjoy the ending it is their game and I glad they got their moneys worth.The ending was a joke to me.They can make all the CYA DLC they want it won't change it.Now most folks were not attacking the OP but posting their opinion.I know that is unacceptable to some.Where are the Stasi when you need them.So what about folks that start a thread about the terrible ending?Aren't  they attacked?Or is it acceptable by your standards?

then it went from there to people demanding he explained why he liked it,followed by more derision and insults from the game haters.

this ethereal group people keep mentioning,the "pro enders" who dont exist then defended his right to post a pro game thread.
there is no "pro ender" group of people,there is simply people who didnt hate the game,but i suppose a "pro ender" group means the game haters can call others an attack force.

then in you pop 7 pages later saying the exact opposite of what actually happened.

those who liked the game simply dont care if someone hated the game or the ending.

i am truly curious as to why simply liking the game can cause such venomous responses ?

you never see the game likers spitting venom at the haters until the haters attack which is a natural reaction to having teeth sunk into ones arse for just saying they like the game.

People that say they like the ending get attacked because they can't back up their opinion as to why they like it. Its all "I like it", "It was fine". No reasons, no explanation as to how you managed to be fine with this pile of **** that you and Bioware call an ending to the most epic story ever. And please don't think that people who hate the ending, hate the entire game as well. This is the GOTY and it needs it ending fixed.

there doesnt need to be any explaination to liking the game though.

we never see people who liked the game demanding reasons from people who hate the game.

i like ice cream with nuts,but never got asked why.


if you think its a pile of excrement then thats how you feel,and nobody has the right to tell you different.

we who like the game just expect the same courtesy.

First, stop saying "people who liked the game". I loved the game and I absolutely despise the "ending". Its obvious that most of you who liked the ending have the false impression that people who **** and moan about it, do it because they hate the entire game, that is wrong.

Second, you don't ask for reasons as to why the "ending" is so bad, because its all over the front pages. All of its problems have been stated multiple times over the past month, yet there is not a single thread that manages to defend even a tiny bit of the last 5 minutes of the game.

I don't know why anti-enders ask for specualtive proof when they don't accept it with any validity. BW is the only one that can close real or imagined plot holes and we have to wait to see what they do in that regard.

I don't understand why the end to a game that is supposed to be entertainment leaves people so bitter to attack people that liked it. It is subjective opinion. No one has to prove anything. The endings are what we have and people need to get over itand treat it like the minor disappointment it should be (if disliked). Most exhibit a disproportional response to something that really is not a big deal. Shepard is not you and you were not denied a happy ending. Shepard was and he is probably satisfied with how it turns out as he made the call and the cycle ends in various ways. He was willing to die and sacrifice for the galaxy as exhibited throughout the series. Oh wait that is autoShepard not yours right?

I pretty much did similar to you OP. Due to the mass rage I was pretty much conditioned to expect one of the worst things in entertainment history. So naturally when I actually got to the end I was pleasantly surprised. (because I was certain that what I was expecting couldn't be true, a foolproof plan) sure, the ending wasn't great by any the length of the margin, but it was good enough for me to continue doing playthroughs without a problem, and *gasp* speculate about it.

I picked Destroy, BTW.

The difference betweeen them and anti-enders is that anti-enders start to pile in to the reasons that pro-enders give (or the lack thereof), which whilst it sounds like an attack is usually an honest attempt at trying to understand how people could possibly enjoy what they see as a completely hideous trainwreck. It only starts getting personal when the trolling and personal abuse gets too much.

i simply heard we used to use sheeps gut as a condom,and simply forgot to take it out of the packet.

i hated the endings so bad i almost changed sex

i cannot answer that until i see the extended dlc or if theres an ME 4.
