Definately would love to see an improvement here. I love reading the codex entries. Things get even more confusing as entries are often updated with new text added to the bottom. So not only do you have to try to keep track of new entries, but have to scroll through on the right to see if there are updates to old ones.
Same issue is true for items, as the yellow box disappears if you scroll to it on the bottom of the screen.

Signed by all 4 people in my party. Love the Codex but sometimes want to read during downtime, not it heat of battle.
The easy fix for the console has been stated: Keep the box shimmering until you hover over it for 5 seconds.
