Yeah, we don't care. There has been a lot of these. Can't you just... you know, leave without making a thread about it?
This is just the thing here. Once you say that ur through, gone or that ur are sick with sth, almost immediately there are people who will cut you off from the rest. It's like, you don't want to be with us?? FINE. Get the hell out. There are still millions of us.
Mind you. If you treat individuals like this, you will be treated likely. Like Mordin said: Big Picture is Made of Little Pictures. This community is made of individuals and throwing them away to trash is wrog way. I understand OP. I feel the very same way. I was cheated, my expectations raped, I wanted THE ENDING - not excuse.
You can't throw people away just because they say what they feel. One day, Bioware may do sth that affects you and You will need support too. Just....remember that.

They are making DLC to "Clarify" the ending. That's not necessarily the same thing...

Yeah, and you're fully missing the point: "There has been a lot of these". And there will still be plenty of them.
How many will have to be 'til BW realizes - whoops - there may be something wrong ?

Exactly. Can you imagine if the 65,000 on _martyr's_ poll *all* posted individual threads on this issue?

Really don't know what reply people expect to these threads other than "oh this again".

Actually the DLC most likely won't fix the ending since they already said it will add "additional cinematics and epilogue scenes to the existing ending sequences." That is supposed to add clarity and closure which isn't only a small portion of what people wanted.
What I wanted was Bioware to create an ending (copying/pasting from Deus Ex doesn't count as creating it, if they actually made it then I could see at least some sense in "artistic integrity" which still is a faulty phrase from other things being in the game currently) without the plot holes like Anderson teleporting, Shep being shot in the arm somehow damaging his stomach and the Catalyst's idiotic logic, that isn't difficult to understand but just is completely idiotic. I also want my choices to actually DO something. Also, where was the rachni? They said we would SEE them in the game fighting the Reapers. (this was only about 2 months ago)

I'll be with you if that EC doesn't satisfy me. What pushed me into the ME3 hate category? Finding out that BioWare ended the greatest sci-fi epic of our time with a doctored up wallpaper and a pop-up ad for DLC. On top of all the other stuff that has been posted about, it was too much. That EC DLC had better be damn good.

-Because he, and the others who wont be buying more Bioware / EA now wont be supporting the company you so adore, and the franchises you find beyond reproach. Instead they will support the competition and become loud naysayers vs Bioware/EA, critics of any future Bioware title and generally be a nuisance.
And thats presuming they just pick up and leave quietly as you want, and as I preseume many allready has.
Now what you should do is encourage them to stay, get them to remember past greatness with bioware, and then tote the "we are listening" crap that has been flowing from bioware. Anything to keep Bioware from bleeding loyal customers.
However, instead you goad them on. You encourage their scorn and their future schadenfreude.
Thanks guys. Thanks for doing the Retake and hold the wallet guys jobs for them. Its much appreciated I'm sure.

And who knows, maybe there will be some post-ending DLC as well? The thing is, if Mass Effect was developed by another company, people would have called it a masterpiece, but only because it's Bioware people judge them different from other developers, the raise the bar of expectation higher than the stratosphere.

Such attitude smacks me as people don't get their way and take their ball and go home.
You disagreed with the ending to a form of entertainment not some major life-changing event. People need a healthy perspective on things.
I hope you find happiness and can still play games in the future. You may disown all companies eventually.
I am glad BW is holding the line becasue the alternative is to always give fans a happy ending so there is no controversy. I don't want the same stuff regurgiated in every game. You anti-enders will lead to more generalization about games not less. It is supposed to be something you hate from saying COD clone game. Yet an ending has to conform to you or else.
So devs may attempt less going with known formulas because they may be reported for false advertisement.
They will put simple generic happy endings to appease the masses.
they will not bother about doing the nice things for fans because of resentment engendered by demanding more and more. They gave us many things and you rage over one thing you did not get. They gave people Tali and Garrus romances and listened on gameplay feedback and made changes they thought the majority wanted. They have been flexible and you are not.
No thinking is required by devs I guess because your purchase demands the right to have a game as you want it right?
Gaming is made poorer not richer by this stand against one of the higher quality devs out there.
