Does anyone know why this happened and if I will unlock another character? Am I right in believing that it gave me a Krogan Vanguard as a 'new' character which overwrote my other one?
Any help would be REALLY appreciated

So I downloaded the Resurgence DLC a few days ago and have unlocked the batarian soldier and krogan vanguard, today I went on multiplayer and the resurgence weekend message popped up. After that when I went to my characters my level 19 krogan vanguard had been reset to lvl 1!
Does anyone know why this happened and if I will unlock another character? Am I right in believing that it gave me a Krogan Vanguard as a 'new' character which overwrote my other one?
