Depends on your playstyle. Def drone is pretty useless when you're staying back most of the time, but it can be quite good for a CQC shotgun Engineer. Like with all powers, test them yourself and if you dont like something, use the respec terminal to try something else.

I had both of these at rank 6 in my Lord of Drones run, but if I had to drop one to rank 3, I'd drop Combat drone.

Never bothered to use either, SP is too boring now because of the Vanguard. ugh.

i don't find defense drone any useful tbh.. but it all comes down to your playstyle and what you like

if your talking about SP then i would suggest u try missile drone and flame torrent at the same time. ( assuming your playing engineer ) that is a real butt kicker.

Were you runnin' a CQC Engineer, Kronner? I did max out both in my first run, but I'm curious if it's even worth it to take Defense Drone to 6. I feel like Defense Drone's sole purpose is to stop flankers.
