When will the increased disconnects from patches be fixed? When the game first came out, there were far fewer. I have 10 to 40 ms completely loss-free connection from east coast to west coast, on a directly connected system. Network shows there is no error on my system. No overruns, errors, or dropped packets. What funky networking system is being used for performance which is not working right? Even the games seem fine most of the time before a disconnect...bad games stay connected, good ones disconnect.
Incidentally, on the most recent failure, one of the other players had the corrupted vertical coordinate problem. He couldn't participate even with a vanguard, due to his character jumping above and below the map. Does the networking talk directly from player to player? Is a corrupted network packet capable of an effect on other players disconnecting?
