Thane, in the hospital. Really well done.

I kept wandering back to Huerta Memorial afterwards, hoping he'd somehow be in that room, recovering via space magic.

The current FemShep doesn't have Mordin so for her, the krogan sacrificing himself so that FemShep, Garrus and Javik could escape from the Rachni-mission.

It is needed for Shepard to move forward. But standing there, trying to give courage to someone so brave at a time like that, she cannot help but feel guild and sadness. Wreav cannot be given the cure to the genophage, somehow it has to be stopped. And, still, she stands here, letting this krogan give his life because it is needed. She was repulsed by the stories that Javik told inside the caves. How the Protheans used the Rachni as weapons so many years ago. But really, standing here now, is she any better. Did she really think she could end this war with her honor intact. Here is the answer. So she smiles, and tries to be brave, for which one of them, she really doesn't know.

Must admit an agree with you some what, it was quite sad when Urdnot Dagg gave his life like that. He was a good Krogan, hes one of the few Krogan who deserved that cure! :,/

It wasn't a big major scene like Mordin    =)

But for this specific FemShep, it was the saddest scene. Simply because after that moment, I couldn't see her the same way and play her the same way. She broke apart a little. Was a little surprised myself, it wasn't easy listening to Javik knowing that the cure would not go through. It ain't easy being Shepard.

For me, it was the last time Ashley and Shepard spoke to one another (if she was romanced) before the part where the game inexplicably stops (apparently, it was the ending, but I'm still in mad denial). Manly tears rolled down my cheek during that scene, no joke.

Close second would have to be Thane, and afterwards Mordin.

I got teary-eyed when I thought Grunt died. Luckily he lived so he could make me cry like a baby at the end when he thanked me for letting him out of that tank.

Tali's death was very sad to me, even though I don't like her all that much, choosing the geth is the only Paragon choice that makes me feel bad doing it. Thane and Mordin's deaths were pretty sad too. All Shepard's friends had way sadder deaths than the kid. I didn't really care about him for his death to haunt Shep so much more than his best friends' deaths.

Very "sad" indeed...

This was less sad and more rage inducing, broke me out of my confusion coma. Mordin on the other hand just made me straight up bawl.
``I am the very model of a scientis-``BOOM!

How about Charr's last poem? That for me was unexpectedly sad.

I don't understand why so many people say that Mordin's sacrifice is sad. Actually this is one of the best ways to turn up the toes. He dies as hero with a song on the lips, who saves an entire race and doesn't kill someone.

Talis death, I could barely watch it because you felt so helpless and knew she is going to die knowing that her species will go extinct (I even reloaded because the Legion VI is not worth the cost). Mordins was pretty intense as well but he had the chance to die knowing he changed the world for good in his eyes.

Mordin's death, followed by Legion's. Their death was inevitable, and they fulfilled their purpose before dying.

Also the sad ****ing music that plays during your romance. Ever since I saw Liara's cute face in that flashback at the end (she was my LI so I didn't know she showed up for everyone) I just can't get that song out of my head.

I think that song is called I Was Lost Without You

Oh my god, yes yes yes! This darn piano, it's stuck in my head!

The saddest scenes where indeed both gifts you get from Liara and the final romance scene with her. Especially the romance scene was extremely sad for me. Not quite cause it's so sad itself, no, it's probably one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in a video game (that goes for Liara herself as well ;)) but the problem was that I already knew about the endings before I finished the game. I watched the romance scene, knowing what will happen, how it will end. Can you imagine how I felt? Extremely depressed, sad, frustrated, I was almost crying just cause I knew that I am helpless, I can't do anything!
The feeling still remains, although I currently cannot watch these scenes ..

the saddest scene is in the real world. it is when a new ME3 player is standing on the gang plank of the crucible/citadel and realizes that the blue, red and green choices are the "wildly different choices" we were promised.

The saddest in the game which comes in second for me is what happens if you are a complete a**h*ole and decide to shoot Mordin....poor twitchy little bugger.

Saddest part was delivering the message of the poetic Krogan to his Asari partner :(

If you decide to backstab wrex and have him shot on the citadel. That might be the saddest and most ****ed up thing ever.

Mordin's Renegade death scene when Shepard shoots him. Just watching him crawl as he's telling himself that he can't die until he activates the genophage cure only to fail in the end made me think this game could be ****ed up sometimes.
