Saddest Scene?

Second place is Mordin...third is Legion. Both made me cry, but not like Thane's death. Thanks a lot for that, BioWare...not!! Way to screw the Thane fans after dangling cures and transplants in our faces!

Personally shooting Mordin.
I did it by second time through the game, just to see what would happen.
And then Wrex shows up, and you kill him too.
Renegade Shepard is a horrible person in 3.
ME1 Renegade - Ultimate Smartass
ME2 Renegade - Ultimate Badass
ME3 Renegade - Ultimate Ass

I'll say it again. Thane. I was okay, bit choked up but okay. Then, Kolyat said the prayer was for Shep and I cracked. Had to put the controller down and go wash the tears off my face. That was powerful.
That was exactly when I broke down, too. Once I saw we weren't even getting the chance to save him (those who romanced them should've had the option of a quest to get him that transplant, dammit, even if it meant screwing up something big or losing the option to gain one of the potential allies), I just thought about it as him refusing to do anything to help himself after him declaring love for Shepard and got mad. Very mad. I had my Shepard enter that room angry at him, but that damned prayer broke it like a hammer breaks glass.

On the friendship path he tells you to "go give them hell". When romanced he begs you to come back. It broke my heart.

Also the turian who's family was supposed to take a vacation off Palavan, but instead sent the money to a charity to help Earth. Talk about a sad what if moment......

(Yes, total paragon.)
The closest I could come to saving him was showing him he had enough self dignity left for him to take his own life rather than to continue to be controlled. It was obvious in that moment that he realized he had betrayed humanity, and there was no redemtion for him. Truly sad.

I never seen it in my gameplays and there is no way i'll go down that route ever, only seen it on youtube and it was still the saddest moment in ME3, hell the saddest moment in a story I had seen in quiet awhile,
Her crying in her mask then removing it to see the world through her eyes for the first and last time before committing suicide. Heartbreaking.

When I saw that I started mashing spacebar and escape so hard because I just wanted to reload and save her lol, I really didnt want to hear any of the aftermath or even think about it. Probably the worst thing I could have ever seen happen especially because she was my sheps LITerrorize69 wrote...
Without a doubt for me, Tali's suicide.

The Krogan and his missus from ME2
Tali's death (must... not cry...)
Mordin's death (manly.... tears...)
Garrus LI farewell (be... strong....)
Tali's LI farewell (OH JEEZUS, THE TEARS MAKE THEM STOP)
Plenty of sad times. Was there any happy sort of side bits in the game? Things which make you fist pump with joy at side mission? And I don't mean as in Werner pointing out the ridiculous clips thing.

Legion's upload, when the Rannoch quest is completed Paragon (Geth/Quarian peace).
Also Liara's "gift" in London. Dunno why, just gets me every time.
I didn't really understand what the 'gift' was exactly.

Just heart-rending. The moment was perfect.
Mordin's death comes in at a close second.

The saddest scene for me is definitely the destruction of the Quarians.
How dare you:crying:
No way could I ever bring myself to do this. Tali killing herself? I can't even watch it on youtube.
I didn't actually make that choice in my game. Just watching it on Youtube and hearing Tali sobbing as she witnessed the destruction of the fleet and her entire species is just a heart wrenching thing to watch.
I got it playing blind on the first FemShep, really thought I could save her as well. That was one smooth false paragon-interrupt. Jupp, cried like a little girl at that point.

Not ashamed to admit I developed leaky eyes at that point, which turned to leaky eyes and laughter as he turned up again.
For me, Mordin's death (cure Genophage) was a triumph for him, and as such made me feel more proud than sad. He had righted his perceived wrongs, and was at peace. Some very powerful writing in his story line. I have not watched/played through the other option and I don't think I ever will.
Tali's suicide was horrific, I watched it on youtube and I will not be watching it again. Hell, I will use a save game editor if I have to to avoid experiencing it in a future playthrough (Ending DLC dependant).
Such amazing writing for all the characters, only to be destroyed by the endings. Such a shame.

Also the good bye scene with Kaidan made me well up I aint gonna lie! (I romanced him) Just the "I'm going to be waiting for you, you'd better show up" line, got a lump in my throat there!
