I'm too stupid to find related posts, so:
I keep getting 'disconnected' while still in game. I can walk around and get hit by grenades, but enemies ignore me, my shots and powers do not register and I can't revive or activate mission objectives.
Usually I sit through this if it happens in wave 10, but otherwise I just leave. I'm no help for the mission anyways and feel like leeching when it happens. I just don't like playing for an hour and not completing a single mission. I is not fun.
Why is this and what can I do to fix or prevent this issue?

From what I have gathered, this happens when you get a huge lag spike. Sometimes it will fix it in a round or two, sometimes it will not fix it at all. It seems that dieing helps to catch you back up, so do everything you can to die, and when you respawn it usually catches you back up. That in itself is a feat, because cause the enemies ignore you, but you will still take some damage. Either way, it doesn't carry over to the next match, unless you grab another lag spike. If it happens round after round, then you probably need to check your internet connection stuff.
