I believe that is called a Deer Axe.
It was more of a bladed surface, with a sharp angle in the blade as opposed to a curve in the blade, that indeed had a vicious spike that went nicely into Magua gut and out his spine =D

Thanks for that, my grandfather actually left me that weapon, he use to collect melee weapons. I didn't actually know the name for it. It's definately a sick weapon

I'm partial to Conan, having grown up with his movies (including Red Sonja), so by extension I also enjoyed The Rock in Scorpion King.
In BG2 my paladin was always wielding a 2H sword (yeah yeah, Carsomyr) and same thing in NWN. I also enjoy scrapping with a 2H sword or axe in DA:O.

who are some sick dual wield warriors?
The only one who comes to my mind right away is Darth Maul from Star Wars Episode 1. His light saber starts out double-ended but during the fight he ends up dual-wielding it, if memory serves.

I'd have to go with the previous suggestion of Lancelot from the 2004 King Arthur movie.splendadaddy wrote...

And [geek alert!] Anakin Skywalker would be a better choice than Darth Maul. Anakin Skywalker actually used two light sabers at once, whereas Darth Maul weilded one weapon with two blades. His light saber breaks partway through his battle with Obi-wan and he weilds it as a single-handed weapon after that.

Watch Ong Bak 2 - There's a knife fighter with mad dual wield skills in that.

Cool! That is SO Lelianne! Anybody else see the Lelianne/French Female Paragon parallel?

Hannibal Barca.
Any time someone wipes out 50,000+ Roman legionnaires in less than a day, when he was out numbered, they deserve to be mentioned.
I actually thought of him? I know he was a great general and he fought from the front. But do you know what his weapons of choice were? prob sword and shield I suspect.
More than likely, yes. Considering the time in which he lived, it ismost likely that he wore some form of chainmail or lighter leather armor.
I always assumed Hannibal rode into battle atop a war elephant.
And since we are at the topic of generals, surely Genghis Khan and Subotai deserve mention.

From what historical records say, he only rode a war elephant when he wanted to make an impression on people that he either wanted to intimidate, or get on his side.
During actual battles he generally rode a horse since it was faster and easier to get around on. When he wasn't on horse, he was on foot.

I know. Not a movie or real historical person, but books are better than movies most of the times, anyway.

I am going to have to go with Alexander the Great. He became king at the age of 19 and wiped out all his father's enemies. Unlike most generals he actually charged into battle with his men. Then conquered a massive empire which shaped many countries culture for hundreds of years.
But he was a psychopath which thought that everybody betrays him. Nobody was save from an execution. And the countries he conquered suffered a lot from his actions, because he nearly exterminated the origin population.
