You may have to reload an earlier point now as the easiest solution.

Wonder what would happen if you kill both the oak and the hermit.

just buyback the werewolf pelts you must of had earlier? should be in one of the merchants inventory, not buyback section though

If I'm not wrong, the buyback section only holds stuff you've sold to the vendor in that session, so if you closed the window and zoned out and back in, it would appear in the merchant's inventory (others section for the pelt) rather than in the buyback section. Of course, I could be all wrong since I haven't touched DAO in a week.

Buyback works only during the current session to avoid selling precious stuff by accident. Nevertheless, the merchant holds the items, you just have to pay the full price later. Not a biggie for one pelt, though.

This is correct. Once you complete a transaction and close the trade window, it moves out of the vendor's buyback inventory into the vendor's standard inventory. The price to buy them also goes up.Nomcookie wrote...

Sorry, no idea.
I'd make a testrun by loading an older save, when I entered the forest the first time. If there are no pelts again, then I guess, that something destroyed the file, in which the loot of certain creatures is defined.
Finally I'd try to use the console. Perhaps there is kind of a "giveitem"-command. But don't ask me about that stuff, because I never tried it in DA:O. Perhaps the modder's section can be of help.
