Probably the Asari. As long as they don't make first contact with anyone from Japan or eastern Europe. If someone doesn't try to kill them for delicious head-tentacle sushi, the other implications are...unpleasant.
HAHAHAHAHHAAHHAH.
Yeah I don't think the Asari would appreciate being eatten.

In either sense of the word.

Salarians? Hack no last race they uplifted got the genophage. They would likely use us for expandable soldiers and if we made too much trouble give us the snip snip no more babies.
The Krogan waged open war the whole galaxy and it was not until they started smashing asteroids into garden planets that they decided to use the genophage.
As long as Humanity did not do that we would be safe to do what ever we wanted.
Perhaps but the Salarians may be even less tolerable with us then they were with the Krogan.

Well you know the Asari are naturally attracted to other Asari, but with the stigma around 'pureblood' unions.... They're probably quite like human females and....
Hmm.... Dirty mind...

There is much we could learn from eachother. The technological advances would be matched by human artistic ingenuity and ambition.
Besides, Kirrahe was badass.. Now imagine a salarian Shepard.

Turians have no interest in helping a possible competitor.
Salarians would only do it in order to have a client species that fights for them in some desperate situation; look at their pattern.
Elcor are too passive.
Volus would want to see a profit.
Protheans would be doing it to make us a part of *their* empire. We'd rebel.
