I've had several crashes, too, although again I don't think this is due to a memory leak. And since it's tech related, let's move this thread over there.

Good for you mr moderator, not all of us have 8 GB of RAM. I quit every two hours of playing.
I don't expect many do. I was mentioning it because it's quite possible that having that much RAM limits any effect that a memory leak, if there is one, has on my game/system. No need to be snappish.

The longest I have played is about 8 hours straight, but I play a little every day and I never shut my computer off. My normal play is about 2 or 3 hours, but never seen an issue.
Are you re-starting just the game, or must you re-start the computer?
The only one issue I had is when Adobe decided to download an update - so I shut that off. Something that might help - shut down any background running programs. If you are using your computer "Out-of-the-Box" so to speak there is probably a ton of crap running you are not even aware of which can be a cause of the issue.
EDIT
Windows Vista SP2 32bit
4GB Ram
1GB Video RAM
If you have shared RAM with your vid card, - tisk tisk

I ought to do it once an hour. Instead, I sit through five minute loading screens telling myself that next time I'll restart the game.
About the same as this.
I keep telling myself I'll stop playing for the night right after this next area. No reason to restart since I'll be shutting down soon anyway. 5 areas later I finally restart.
Been working overtime to get my new computer with 12 gigs of ram. Soon I'll come on the forums and berate everyone for playing the game with there old crappy pcs.

As fortunately I seemed to have fixed the leaky memory along with freezes/lockups when I was rolling back my onboard sound driver to fix a problem with another game ironicly.. And I can't answer why it worked or even if that's the fix.
Because over time I've been thinking that it was older stuffed drivers of my onboard sound that I didn't properly clean when upgrading that might've caused it. If you have HD Audio nevertheless, I think it's worth a try to move back to 6.50a.

Considering that a memory leak results in running out of memory (AKA: RAM)....I don't expect many do. I was mentioning it because it's quite possible that having that much RAM limits any effect that a memory leak, if there is one, has on my game/system. No need to be snappish.

Why are you all restarting the client? Simply exiting to the main menu resets it. No need for a full restart.
I generally have to exit there every 3 logo loading-screens (not black loading-screen) area loads or so to keep area load times down.
