Very rarely. Only after about 3 hours does it start to get really noticable, but i rarely play for that long in a setting.
This is the same for me. It takes about 3 hours before I start seeing anything related to memory leak, but I rarely play for that long in one setting.

Yeah, I've only really had slowdown issues twice since I got the game.

I just tried this out now and... wow. The area-resource decaching issue is still present, but it's far less severe.

I don't think this is actually a memory leak though. It seems more like everything that has loaded before is being loaded through the processor again and this is what is causing the problem. I have 8gbs of ram and have never seen usage go above 2.5gbs. The pagefile being turned off seems to help a bit as well but most users shouldn't do this as their systems need it.

Heh, no, never found myself needing to restart, though I don't often play more than 2 hrs.

I've only had to do it once and I was traversing the entire map to be sure I didn't miss anything. I also have 4 gigs of ram though and I make sure my comp isn't doing anything else when I'm playing. I wonder if some of the people with this issue are around 1 or 2 gigs of ram?
I have 6 GB of ram but still this problem. Its very odd, because I cant se a pattern on the computers with problems. All kinds of CPU and videocard, and they are all far beyond the requirements.
Hope they find a solution with the patch next week.
However; I play the PS3 version now. Its about as good as the PC version in my opinion.

Thats not saying it doesn't exist, just hasn't affected me as of yet.
I'm also running 8GB RAm so that may be why it doesnt seem to show. I dunno.

It was every 30 to 60 minutes depending on how many area transitions I went through and how willing I was to sit there while an area took a while to load. But I also applied that fix for the AMD Phenom and haven't had to restart since then.
What is this fix you speak of? I have an AMD Phenom and I'd like to be able to play without restarting every 15 minutes

It's the TLB patch. You are disabling it beause it cuts down the performance of the Phenom 9500 and 9600. There is a sticky for it in these forums with links to the programs you need to download as well as pictures showing you what to do.
Oh and also if you haven't turned off persistent gore already do that and you'll see a big improvement.
