I have a quadcore processor (3ghz+) & 8GB RAM and still have crazy load times after playing the game for awhile.

Unless there is a real benefit for being logged in, I wont be and have had no problems with my game. You can turn it off in the options. Under online I believe.PS---Im not too fond of some company somewhere having access to my system and uploading/downloading things randomly without my instant knowledge.
Yea, thx, thats when i stopped having slow/lag issues, when i found that and turned it off. Its at the lower left hand corner of the screen when you start up the game.

Supposedly it's not a memory leak. If it were, I could not respond "Never."
There are other posts on this forum suggesting it may be a problem with slightly older processors, but not a memory leak, since it isn't effecting every PC.

Never.
I've never seen any evidence of the alleged leak, either. But then, every game that's come out for the last decade has immediately been met with complaints of "memory leak!" and I can't remember more than a single instance where there actually was one.
Likewise no restarting, I even let the game run for 60 hours without tabbing away or exiting to the menu and still couldn't get it to slow down. I've never seen it use more that 1.4GB of RAM either, even when I finally tabbed out at 60 hours to check on it. I've posted my specs elsewhere also, but I only have 2GB of RAM on the machine I've been doing my primary playing, running XP Pro SP3.
