YES! YES! YES!
They deserve to be shown in a good light like Geth were with Legion or Krogans with Wrex.

Would love to have a Batarian squatmate and see what he claims on mission such as Sanctuary, Thessia, Eden Prime, etc. Would be a really interesting perspective, especially if he has attitude for the events of Arrival.

Hell no.....They've been a race that HATES humans. Why would I want one as part of my squad now?
Read your codex entries from the 3 games.....you'd learn a thing or 2 about them and why they don't 'fit' as part of your squad.
I can 'live with', how BioWare addressed the "Down with the Sky" carry over from ME1 to ME3....what I hated about it was how easily convinced someone was. (If you did Paragon on ME1 & 3).

There's a whole bunch of squadmates I'd rather have.
I want Aria as a permanent squaddie and LI. Same goes for Parasini. I want some ME2 squaddies and as I've stated before: a human from our time, who uses "ancient" firearms and is shocked at the new tech and terrified of Krogan and Turians.
Heck, it'd be awesome to somehow have Anderson on your squad.
Apart from Aria, none of them are possible.

Lots of Humans and Baterians work together in the Blue Suns so Im not sure why you think they all hate Humans.

What's holding let's say Zaed back? Samara hasn't got much to do either.

Mercenary groups and hitmen that work together to gain an advantage by illegal means, doesn't equate to an alien race of beings now suddenly joining you to save your home world. ESPECIALLY after what happened in 'Arrival'...Though unavoidable.

Batarian's hate humans.....Why do Sci-Fi stories ALWAYS have to 'turn' the Villanous race, 'good', at some point. Star Trek with the Borg and Klingons...and even to an extent, the Romulans. Every Sci-Fi story out there does not always have to have that, 'can't we all just get along' storyline. Batarians were Human's enemies in ME1 and ME2....One FINAL chapter of Shepards story would not have killed the series keeping Batarians as Humankinds enemy. Bioware can turn them 'good' towards Humans AFTER the Reapers are dealt with....A certain someone from ME1, per your decisions, shouldn't have agreed.....For all intensive purposes, ME3 began with the Batarians being wiped out from the get go....so if Shepard at the end of ME3 saves the rest of them that potentially survived, THEN let Human's and Batarian's play peace. But after Arrival, and how quickly the Reapers wiped out the Batarian's at the start of ME3?? Batarian's should have been P*SSED, with humanity.

Your logic is sound...I don't disagree with that at all.
However Tarak led the Blue Suns...Humans were commanded by him.
In 'Bring down the Sky', Batarian's were out to destroy Terra Nova.
Batarian's want to be in charge....They're not a race that is willing to be led....Especially by Humans. And wasn't part of their reasoning for leaving Council space due in part from rules and regulations? Having to follow what others had established as 'guidelines'?
So yeah, they wouldn't wage war against the Alliance....but it certainly turns into a sham when they agree so easily for use of their fleet.....Their fleet being commanded by a Human.
No 'flame'.....IMO you're thinking like a Human. (Ironic...LOL!) That logic of, "Why doesn't this person like me?" or "Why can't this group like us?"
When humanity discovered their first mass relay, then started expanding rather quickly....Who got irritated? Batarian's. It's been their biggest gripe towards us since day 1. Why change that now? Batarian's WANT to lead. NOT be lead.
