Also BW said that they were reducing the line-up in order to make deeper relationships between Sheppard and the team and also between the squadmates.

Yes, that's what they said to cover up their mistake. ''Smaller squad for deeper relationships'' my ass. I developed a deeper relationship with Tali when I defended her in front of the council and with Jack when I helped her blow up the place that ruined her than with any of ME3's squaddies. Garrus and Liara already were my bro and sis, I felt absolutely no connection to Ash or Kaidan, James, EDI and Javik. Especially not the ''deeper'' kind.

I thought it was okay. It was nice to have the old squad back. I don't take Javik along often, though some of his interactions with the crew are funny (especially with James). James is okay; he looks cut and pasted out of Gears of War, but at least he has personality. He's no Zaeed Massani, but he's no where near as dreadfully boring as Jacob Taylor.

I was expecting a Batarian, which would've been perfect. I'm also sad I didn't get my Jack on the ship
:(

I'm very pleased with what we got though, except I preferred EDI when she was a creepy disembodied voice, which also made the implied relationship...thingy between her and Joker a lot more interesting. Oh well.

It seemed silly having Liara with an ability that boosted squadmate's biotic powers when she was the only biotic in the squad (Kaiden died on Virmire, Shepard is an infiltrater, don't have "from ashes")
