I think spells were done much better in DA2. yes I love Force mages! is epic and freaking deadly, fist of the maker, slow, mind blast and several other combinations worked perfectly agaisnt 1v1 act2.
I missed dual wield warriors I hope they come back next game, I thought it was stupid not to be a dual wield warrior or that rogues only uses daggers.. pathetic I say.
Spells in DAO vs DAII, and missing spell combinations.

YEAH, I'M NOT A FAN OF THE WAY THEY TOOK ROGUES IN DRAGON AGE 2, AND I THINK IT REFLECTS A GENERAL MISHANDLING OF THE ROGUE ARCHETYPE IN VIDEO GAMES. IF YOU GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL ROOTS OF THE D&D class (THE GREY MOUSER, CUGEL, BILBO, AND SO ON) THE ONLY MAIN DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A "WARRIOR" TYPE OF CHARACTER AND A "ROGUE" TYPE OF CHARACTER IS THAT A WARRIOR IS GOOD AT WINNING A FAIR FIGHT AND A ROGUE IS GOOD AT NEVER FIGHTING FAIR. SOMEWHERE ALONG THE LINE THAT GOT FLANDERIZED INTO "WARRIORS ARE BIG PEOPLE WITH BIG SWORDS, AND ROGUES ARE LITTLE PEOPLE WITH LITTLE KNIVES."

I would like to see combos brought back and improved for DA3. I like the detonation idea that is used in Mass Effect where you start with one power and combine it with another for an awesome AoE explosion.
