Heck, I'd honestly sacrifice VS or Liara for Thane in a heartbeat.
Truth to be told, I'd be squeeing til I'm blue in the face if all of the ME2 cast could return ala, that concept art in the Mass Effect art book.

yeah, i would also sacrfice liara or Kaidan without any doubts (that hard but it is like it is) mass effect is not mass effect for me without my collector down burning team of thane and mordin. i missed them soooo much

ME3 needs more Jack, sure Garrus always gives Shepard a decent pep talk however sometimes he just needs a left hook to the temple courtesy of subject zero. Come on having her on the ship would make for some interesting dialogue don't you think.

I wish miranda could come on board and kick Liara off the ship and become the shadowbroker thus ending Liara's relevance to the mass effect series *sigh*

Zaeed. After that one quest on the Citadel he does nothing but stay at the refugee camp. He would be perfect for the next squad mate. I could just picture him and Javik striking a conversation over past battles or even better, Zaeed joking with Vega. Wrex would be awesome too and I can feel the friendship chemistry between Javik & Wrex but I understand that Wrex has important things to do.

I am certain Jack is probably lined up for something major considering how little she has going on in ME3 and I know she got cut in development (was meant to be a full squad member thats why she got the redesign) , which is why here mission is so early on in the game.

I hate to say this but I doubt Miranda would be a squad member because as noted she is only free after sanctuary but then all you have left is the final missions and a couple of side missions (if at all) which would make her joining the normandy slightly pointless (can't believe I just said that) and not forgetting a large amount of people are struggling to keep her alive in ME3 during sanctuary.

Jacob and Thane nothing they can do on those they set in stone and would contradict everything that happened with those characters in the original story considering you want to add to not change.

With Samara I agree it is possible that she could join and doesn't really fill that gap in really but the issue is that there will be a huge contradiction if she vowed to kill you once the suicide mission is over and she is no longer sworn to you. (could cause issues)

So I hate to say this the only character from ME2 I say an truly join the Normandy with it making sense and being a benefit for you during the vast majority of ME3 it is only Jack and maybe Samara if you resolve the issue of the variations in how she respects you in ME3 (at least she is meant to dislike you when necessary)

This is my ideal squad list for ME3
Garrus and Tali for the win I mean come on, they have been there w/ u since day 1:)

Miranda since Shep made her see the light and shes done w/Cerberus! I admit when I first met her I thought she was a total **** lol but she won me over when she told you bout her sis:) Now I love tht genetically adavanced bosh'tet cheerleader lol. Love her way more than Ash.

Jack she got tht freaking wicked makeover! Plus shes a badass. Also I felt there weren't enough biotic awesomeness in ME3, Wht 2 do w/her students however...hmm thts tricky.

Thane b/c I can't live without him:{ I thought it was beyond cruel tht BW gaves such hope tht there might be a cure 4 him in ME3. Also his character does a complete 180 if u romanced him and he shows tht he doesnt want to live again.....uh tht wasn't wht he said 6 months ago when he came to my Shep cabin in the night, conflicted and angry. Think they should do tht Invictous mission tht got srubed foolishly from the game and be able to cure him and have his sexy ass sharing the cabin w/Shep.

Vega I liked him after awhile hes alright but I would to have him as a LI.

Javik hes cool I like him bit of an ass though.
Grunt I mean you just gotta have a Krogan on your squad. Plus if u went paragon his whole unit dead anyway so, wht 2 do wht 2 do:) haha join Normandy and get his old room back n kick Allers out the damn airlock.

Liara ok but would make more sense if she was full time Shadow Broker and only avaible for certain missions.

Ash and Kaidan I guess since some ppl romanced them;p but I sure as hell didnt.

Edi I guess but I didnt really like her character, thought she was boring.

Tali, Thane, Miranda and Grunt get new outtfits and I'll be truly happy and bow down to Bioware again.
ALSO lol I want all my old cabin thingys back. U knw, the Prothean shepre, Sheps old N7 helmet and her dog tags hahah k I'm done I promise.
But yea I would pay for them, they are worth it:) I my my family back, ALL of them!

I also 4got bout Kasumi and Zaeed. Their "side missions" if you can even call them tht were rushed and worthless and it was real clear tht BW 4 got bout them and didnt knw wht 2 do w/ them. I would have liked if they each had their own side mission like every1 else and had a chance to join the Normandy 4 a bit and hang out. Both their missions were soooo horrible and watered down, I mean Kasumi mission? It complely undoes the mystery behind the greybox and makes her LM seem silly. And Zaeed? urg! He had a perfect reason to join but just didnt? 0.o I mean wth?! Urg the more I think bout all these issues the more I get pissed out! I havnet even touched the game in like 2 weeks.....urg nah u knw wht?! Lets just have all our Squad mates back! Screw it lets just have a freaking army! I demand Kal Reegar, Shiala and Cap Kirrahe 2 !!!!!!! > Oh yes it will b glorious.

There just aren't enough female aliens in the Mass Effect universe. I understand BioWare's issue with creating alien characters, but the citadel and most alien worlds should have double the population they do at the moment!

Maybe to remedy that BioWare should introduce a female alien squad member - like a Drell or a Turian. It might create an interesting group dynamic.

Or even a Raloi - We've heard them mentioned in news reports but have never been introduced to one yet...

Adding to this point EDI shouldn't of been a squadmate either. We didn't need her on that mission where she had to hack the doors, or stop the ventilation of that cargo bay. I swear she did the same thing in ME2, where she hacked the doors for the Collector ship. And doesn't the Collecters have superior tech than Cerberus? So why exactly did we need her, when she could of hack everything within the ship like in ME2. And don't tell me the Normandy couldn't stay in range of that Cerberus base becuase of the battle that was going on. Normandy had to stay in range in order for EDI to function properly. She said so herself.

so anyway EDI was just another waste of space that could of added a far better character. Such as Miranda, Samara, or Jack.
