To everyone asking for Zaeed, you're forgetting If he moves those cargo crates would fall kill everyone in the galaxy. His leaning is more important than ANYTHING else.

Kasumi and Zaeed's scenes were small but for the most part it makes sense (despite loving Zaeed, my Femshep would romanced his ass in an instant if it was an option "That was a hell of night shepard, glad you where there.") They were DLC characters that I'm guessing a rather large number of people NEVER got with a chance of not making it through 2. Why spend all those resources on something some folks would just never see.

I'd have had pretty much any of my ME2 squadmates back in a heartbeat. The shuttle bay has plenty space for them all to bunk down. Apart from Mordin, much as I like him, I can't bring myself to stop him from curing the Genophage....I've only seen the video of Shep persuading him to fool the Krogans, but talking him out of sacrificing himself there just feels like you break his spirit.

Miranda would be first on the list of those. I thought she made an excellent XO for Shep, even though I've not romanced her yet on my ME2 saves.

With Cerberus hunting her, surely  joining Shep on the Normandy would be the safest place to be? She could have used Liara's Shadowbroker resources to track her sister and to warn people about Sanctuary, and surely a reinstated Spectre could have organised an amnesty with the Alliance and Council for her?

Also think you should have been able to have Wrex in your squad on either Sur'Kesh or Tuchanka....outside those missions his role in controlling the Krogan clans and cementing the alliance with the Turians is a pretty good reason for him not joining you on the Normandy, so I'll let him off.

A batarian, geth, or salarian would satisfy me, although neither (none) are really available in SP game.

Or Garrus' sister. A femturian would be nice to see.
