That you intend to save transfer through into DA3?

My DAO playthrough is always with Alistair and I've got an Anders/mage playthrough with that save transfered. I'll probably do another with Fenris before DA3 though..

I know it's a long way away yet but I just read the article that indicated The Warden and Hawke may feature in some regard and I'm not sure if the LI will have an impact...?

My canon DA:O save is Alistair with my female Amell mage Warden (Kept Alistair as a Warden.)

My canon DA2 save is Anders with my sarcastic/funny male Hawke mage. (Sided with the Mages.)

My canon Warden is a male City Elf whose greatest wish was to leave the stupid alienage and go adventuring! Boy did he get his wish. He ended up with Zevran and helped make his best friend Alistair king.

My canon Hawke ... oh, this is much harder; I've completed DA2 at least a half-dozen times! Well, although two of my Hawke's romanced Anders, I would definitely say my canon Hawke is a male rogue or mage who romances Fenris. So I'll likely import one of those. I have an archer rogue, two duel wielder rogues, and am doing a mage playthrough right now, all romancing Fenris, all supporting mages in the end, although one of the duel-wielders was fairly pro-Circle throughout.

DAO: Morrigan (for a male Warden) and Zevran (for a female Warden).
DA2: Merrill (for a male Hawke) and Anders (for a female Hawke).

I rarely have "canon" playthroughs, but I have favorites that I use more often, and abuse "saves" on:
DAO - Female City Elf with Zevran; Ali is King
Female Cousland married to King Alistair
DA2 - 10 playthroughs, 8 of which are with Fenris. The above DAO files are the ones I most often use, but they are not the only ones I have.

I'm sure by the time DA3 comes out, I will have mulitiple play throughs with my other DAO files (2 dalish elves; male with Zev, female alone. 1 dwarf commoner; female US. 2 other Couslands, one female that married Ali, but she was completely clueless - was my first warden ever. Other Cousland is a man who will be with Morrigan and Zev; haven't finished him yet. Lastly is my female Amell mage; runs off with Ali to be wardens together.

I think I need a life................

Canon is a wrong word, but if you mean my personal favorite?
Then it's my Female human Mage/w Leliana in Origins with both Loghain and Alistair alive and well, and then my Female Warrior Hawke, Agressive/w Merrill.

My "import" Warden is a female mage who romanced a hardened Alistair and made him king, remaining on as his mistress.

My "import" Hawke is a male mage who romanced Anders and supported mage freedom to his dying breath.

I'm a creature of habit.  Most of my playthroughs, including my planned DA3 import, have had the Warden romancing Leliana and Hawke romancing Isabela.  I guess I like the adventurous ladies who've seen a bit of the world.

My "canon" import is DA:O female dalish elf who romanced Zevran (if they ever fix the import bug) and then DA2 female mage Hawke who romanced Fenris.

Kenrik Amell romancing Morrigan -- Wren fHawke(mage) romancing Anders is my canon story right now. I'm pretty biased towards mages, and the story I've built so far would reflect that.

I have an alternate timeline as well.

Kendra Cousland (ultimate sacrifice) romanced Leliana -- Faust mHawke(rogue) romancing Isabela and is pro templar/anti qunari.

I have a ton of DA:O characters, but I haven't played DA2 enough to find them a Hawke to pair with, so I'll probalby recycle the two above since there is really only one choice in DA2 (templars or mages).

It's why I put it in ''s....I couldn't really think of another word to describe what I meant?

More that when you've completed DA3, what characters will you have used to create the 'actual' story you'll consider 'the story of Dragon Age'. Or maybe it's just me who thinks like this which is entirely possible. :P

My " canon" from DA:O is a female Human Rogue who marries Alistair and becomes queen. (And I doubt this will change, since DA:O is such a pain in the rear to play on PS3).

My "canon" from DA2 is a female 2H Warrior Sarcastic/Funny Hawke who romances Sebastian, sent Bethany to the Circle, killed Anders, sided with the Templars. (I have both a friend save and a rival save for her. When all the DLC had been released I was going to go with whichever I liked better, but since the Expansion has been cancelled I'm not sure which I'll use first.)

Then just call it "your story"

Canon means official story, of which there are none.

Well you can use "canon" to refer to your own personal canon :P I definitely have a canon Warden, so it works for me.

My Warden was an Amell lady romancing Alistair and running off as Grey Wardens together in the end.
Hawke went first with Isabela and then Anders.

No, your communication skill just isn't very good. Canon means "Officially Released" which "your" warden is not. Image IPB

Dragon Age is an RPG that allows the player to "write" her own experience.  Therefore, a player can create her own canon (my opinion).

Also, pointless personal attack much? :(
