DAO: Male Mage -> Leliana
DA2: Male Warrior -> Merrill

I consider my 'canon' to be my first playthrough. Second playthroughs have so much foresight that its artificial.

DAO: Warden + Leliana: She was just such an interesting character with an interesting past...her charm, sexiness and that lovely accent. (Morrigan as well...was able to romance both of them and my Warden has strong feeling for both)

DA2: Male Warrior + Merrill: I wasn't initially going to go for her, but she grew on me, she was so cute (like DA's version of Tali), and I ended up choosing her over Isabella.

For The Hero of Ferelden - Leliana
Beautiful but dangerous, and a very sweet personality and voice. Even though the best she could do in Awakening was leave him a note

For The Champion of Kirkwall - Merrill
Cute, but driven and strong. Also a very sweet personality and voice. Probably happy with Hawke in a place where there are no Templars to be found.

For DA3 (Assuming Bioware reassures me that they can end a trilogy without disaster), no idea. I guess I'll have to start over once again!

And I agree on the first playthrough being the canon one - that's the one which, mistakes and all, represents me best.

I'd list race/class of Warden and class of Hawke, except it really doesn't matter - all of my Wardens romance Zev, and all of my Hawkes romance Fenris (despite my best efforts to rivalmance Anders once; the attempt was doomed to failure).

Cannon Origins: Dyalin my City Elf is with Alistair, but when he becomes King, she is left in the dust. She is alone in the end. Sorta sad and she takes up drinking with Oghren till she is tossed off to Amrathine.

As for my Hawke.... Nel, my wonderful male warrior, ends up with Anders and they run off to save mages all over thedas... And meet the drunkard Hero of Ferelden. Joking! She goes to AA and gets help.

My canon warden is Female Cousland who romances Alistair and is QUEEN!!
(Female Tabris romances Zevran
Male Amell romances Morrigan, although I've yet to finish him
And I will make a Male or Female Brosca to romance Leliana

The rest are forever alone.)

As for my Canon Hawke, female mage who romances Anders and lets him live.

My Canon Warden has only one requirement - She is female. Her Canon LI is Alistair. I prefer to keep him a Warden because he seems happier as a warden than as king.

My Canon Hawke is a mage so that her brother survives to become a Warden (I always did like Carver). My Canon LI is Fenris, period.

While I have enjoyed playing a male warden in DA:O, I don't play a male Hawke because when I play a male character, I see myself as the LI rather than my character, and I just don't see myself as either Merrill or Isabela. I've only played through as a male Hawke once each LI just for the achievement.

DA:O female dalish thief -> No romance. She's pretty dead now so... zero romantic life.

DAII - thief - > Sebastian Vael FINALLY an asexual romance! I...really appreciated. I mean, I know he's not properly asexual but, as asexual player, I felt... refreshing having the opportunity to pick a LI you don't have to share the bed with.

Three playthoughs of DA2, with three imported wardens:

1. Female human warrior/Alistair as king-> Diplomatic female warrior Hawke with Merrill
2. Female Dalish archer rouge/Zevran -> Snarky female rouge Hawke with Isabella
3. Male human mage/Morrigan -> Aggressive female mage Hawke/ Anders

I haven't imported my male dwarf noble warrior/Leliana or female city elf rogue/ Leliana DA:O playthroughs

DA:O Miranda Amell (Mage) considered romancing Zevran, but ended up with Alkistair after he swept her off her feet. (Wow, he's the first Bioware LI is liked who was human 0_o)

DA2: Sarah Hawke (Mage, again) considered Anders, since I really liked him in Awakening, but he went kinda crazy and I was like; "Dude, what happened? You've changed, man." So I went back and romanced Fenris. No I can't romance anyone else as Lady Hawke.

DA2: Garret Hawke (warrior) Romanced Merrill, because she reminds me of a more moe Tali with freaky Blood Magic powers.

None. I don't want my Warden or Hawke to be left alone and heartbroken when the next game/book/comic dictates the LI be doing something specific without them. Romances are for alternates.
