DA:O - City Elf rogue who romanced Zevran. She went through Awakenings, recruiting Nathaniel as a party member and killing the Architect.
DA:2 - I'll decide closer to game launch but I'll go for one of two who romanced Fenris. One was a dual-wield rogue with a friendmance, the other a force mage with a rivalmance.

DA2: I'm torn between Fenris and Anders. Fenris romance is very emotional but the way the Anders Romance plays out is much more dramatic so I say Anders/MaleMageHawke

A dead Alistair is the best Alistair... for my Amell anyway. She lived a tragic life, torn from her family as a young girl and raised in the prison that is the Circle of Magi, she saw the Warden's offer as an opportunity for greatness. Alas, it just brought her more tragedy as her friends turned against her and the love of her life died to save her. Shortly after the events of Vigil's Keep, she began to act strangely and disappeared - I like to think she couldn't take anymore and just buggered off to a simpler life.

My dead Hawke had an unrequited love going on with Sebastian Vael - After fleeing Kirkwall and it's Templars, Athena and her merry little band split up to make their capture a more difficult task. Athena eventually gave her life in Bethany's defense, using all of her warrior skills to delay the hunters long enough for Bethany to reach freedom.

It was all quite beautiful. *Sniffles*

So, my import's going to be kind of a trainwreck for DA:I (though aren't those the most fun?)

I've got a duster dwarf berserker who was SUPPOSED to be romanceless, because she didn't seem like a touchy feely type, especially with a job to do. But then Alistair happened with all the Alistair flirting and she gave up and romanced Alistair. She eventually left him after he was crowned because a man's got to do his job (heirs!), and then died killing the Archdemon because Morrigan's offer sounded like crazy times. I messed up rescuing Sten and a couple other things.

Then my Orlesian spirit champion tank Warden bops onto the scene for Awakening. I'm pretty sure she was crushing on Nathaniel (or maybe that was just me), and if she had a love interest, he had a bow and a maxed approval rating. She let him go and he came right back and asked to join up. S'all I'm saying. I accidentally killed Sigurn, saved the Keep, and spared the Architect (I was hoping to turn on him). I have GOT to start reading spoilers for these things. Anyway, Anders was my Orlesian's bro and I guess he was planning on sticking around forever. D'oh. Or at least until Justice took a swing at my Orlesian and got knocked down. Damn you, epilogue slides.

So then I continued my merry jaunt into Kirkwall. I had a lady warrior tank. Well, you all know Kirkwall is a pit of despair and murder. Hawke, despite my bumbling best efforts, did NOT help. I had her as a well intention-ed gal who just wanted to get some law and order going in the madness pit, and prevent anarchy. She wound up rolling out with Aveline, Fenris and Sebastian most of the time because justice. And hooking up with Fenris, in a friendmance. So. That playthrough went off the skids because I didn't read spoilers in the last act... Though seeing Mr. Howe was nice. Hawke didn't manage to hook up with anyone else, so Fenris returning was a nice surprise. I wound up knee-jerking into killing Anders (my Warden's BFF, sure that'll be fine). And went templars for LAW AND ORDER, with the assumption that once order was restored, I could yell everyone into not being so crazy.

As it turns out, I was in Kirkwall, so it just got nuttier and nuttier. Someone check the water.

My canon playthrough in Origins is a female Cousland who married Alistair and became king. Though I'm currently playing a female Amell who is romancing Leliana and can't decide which one to import first! Oh well, plenty of time to think about that.

In DA2 my canon is male Hawke/Anders. I always end up romancing him even though I try not to.

Same here. My Surana Warden romanced Morrigan, and entered the Eluvian with her (with my Mabari Hound), while my apostate Hawke romanced and supported Merrill.

Dragon Age Origins: My character was a male human noble DW rogue. I keep going back between Leliana and Morrigan, but I think in the end I'll take Morrigan as my cannon LI.

Dragon Age 2: My Hawke was an male archer rogue. My LI was always Isabela, I would have tried Aveline but yeah... and absolutely no Merrill. So my canon I guess would have to be Isabela.

I didn't like DA:O and I didn't like the characters.
But in DA2. Oh yeah, Izzy all the way.

I don't really have a canon since I all love all my playthrough's equally [6 in DA:O & DA:2, 7th in the works]. However my 'canon' I guess is the first character I will bring through DA:I.

DA:O: She wasn't my first playthrough, rather my 4th, but my fiery duel wielding warrior Dwarf Female Commoner Crystal is my canon. So my canon LI was Alistair and they ran off to rebuild the order without the worries of politic's. Without the King thing in the way they were able to do what they want and enjoy life without restrictions and or fancy tea parties and stuffy nobles.

My first playthough married Alistair but I kinda felt that Alistair never really wanted the crown and so 4 play through's later I eneded up prefering a hardened Alistair that did not take the crown and stays with the wardens doing something he loves. That is my canon LI for DA:O.

DA:2: This one is tougher... But since I adore my first Hawke and she romanced Anders, my canon LI is Anders. But I have so much emotions around Anders. I have a love hate relationship with the character, and his story really touched me. Shows how effective the Bioware writing team is at their job!

My mage female Hawke named Delilah I played with a sarcastic personality and I felt like it kinda balanced the moodiness of Anders. She ran off to become fugitives with Anders. Though by Act 3 I was ready to dump his ass but at the same time torn between her two different Anders the sweet, sensitive one, and the one of gloom and depression.

It was really sad to see him crumble and fall apart and he wouldn't let me help him! Really pissed me off when he wouldn't tell me what he was doing. I felt helpless, that my character couldn't do anything to save him from justice, I honestly hoped that I could take Justice out of him first time around.
Damn you Bioware for making me adore and loath Anders at the same time *shakes fist*

Well, my canon romance for DAO would be with my Cousland archer making Alistair king and romancing Morrigan. He chases after her and follows her through the mirror.

In DAII it would be with my mage Hawke getting together with Isabella and dragging her along in his epic mage rebellion.

In Origins, my female City Elf Rogue romanced Leliana.

As for DA2, I enjoy my female sarcastic/diplomatic Mage Hawke with Fenris (not sure whether I'd choose the friendmance or rivalmance though). My ending was pro-Mage and I killed Anders.

DA:O? Morrigan and then later Zevran (since Zevran's romance is already bugged in DA2 though, I doubt that he will have any future impact. And with Morrigan it'll probably be more about the Dark Rutual than the actual romance).
DA2: Anders. (And that better be mentioned/have an impact. I mean, come on!)
