Volus military ground forces don't really exist only orbital striking, protheans are all dead sorry, and I would rather play as a freaking hanar then a vorcha

What's the point of a character that is too short to peek over cover?

hells yeah. also Hanar Soldier class. "Blasto".

on a more serious note. Rachni doesn't sound bad either. from what I gather in the games lore, they know biotics and tech too.

Volus Adept

Great Wind
Shoots out a cone that damages and pushes back all enemies in it's AoE
Would act like a Ballistic-Blade version of throw
Rank 6 would either Warp targets hit or halve cooldown time

Throw
Same old, Same old

Barrier
See Krogan

Biotic God
Bonuses to Force/Damage, Weight reduction to SMG's

Fitness
Same as Human

Starting Hp/Shields: 500/500

Volus Adept Build

Warp - As normal.
Great Wind - as discussed, a biotic tsunami. Detonates Warp
Tech Roll - Extra Shields, but can trigger 'roll' causing Volus to bowl over enemies like skittles.
Biotic God - (passives)
Fitness (Volus) - includes 'box' which Volus places to stand on to see over cover.

How could this class not be incredibly popular ?

The Volus Biotic God is a joke event that occurred during Shepard's journeys.

The Volus as playable characters however are not.

The Volus are as much in this war as anyone else. Their home planet Irune is being actively invaded and decimated like the rest of the galaxy by Reaper forces. To suggest they do not have any forms of resistance is stupid.

Sure one could argue that the Volus aren't as able to fight as other species, but it is rather odd to suggest that in the Volus planets of Irune and others (several of whom have more than a billion inhabitants) that there are not some athletic Volus capable of holding their own out there willing to fight against the reapers.

The Volus do have their own military as well, small one but still. They have one of the best dreadnoughts in the Turian Fleet for example.

Anyway, considering that the N7 missions on multiplayer is lore'd as a collection of the finest soldiers in the galaxy, it is perfectly plausible that a few Volus enlist themselves, what with their home planets being conquered and galactic civilization being destroyed and everything.

Failing all that, give them Volus Mech Suits.:D:D

they built bombing fleets, and they do have dreadnuaghts, i read it somewhere that a turian general was invited to a volus Dreadnuaght and one of them made a comment about scorhing a planet many times over if they could.

If they can build dreadnuaghts, they can build rifles

Why not Elcor with guns strapped to there backs

The only other races that would be realistic enough to add (i.e. stands on two legs, built like a human), would be the Protheans or Vorcha.

I'm sorry, I have to say it.

More than racist, as Geth and Batarians, Asari are welcomed, the discrimination is in fact 'bipedalism'. We know how Rachni are unwelcome on the Crucible project, that is surely because of the non-bipedal gait, as we also see discrimination against Hanar and Elcor.

Who would not want to hear the call across the battlefield: "With barely disguised terror, cover me..."

It is true that weapon deployment may be more difficult, Rachi will thrive, but Hanar attacks like 'strangle', 'entangle' and 'squish' would probably replace weapon use. Elcor could sit on the enemies, crushing them. In this struggle, all races should contribute as all races are under threat.

If Hanar fight alongside enkindlers (as is rumoured) they will gain 'religious fervour' melee bonuses.

Talk about an amazing memory. I mean, you remembered this comment from over 5 months ago, and now that we have Volus and Vorcha, you took it upon yourself to revive this thread so we could all take part in the irony that was that comment.

You're officially the biggest badass on the forums.
