Omega DLC predictions

why would Shepard go to Omega? We alrady got the support from the mercenaries, most of the military power there. There has to be som pretty significant new war assets there, otherwise it just doesn't make any sense in context of the plot. Hopefully somthing that doesn't feel forced and contrived. But sure, they hinted on it in game, and the system's there as a previous poster said, just not accesible. But in alll honesty, I think a MP dlc is more probable in regards of Omega.

Well a Batarian squadmate is long overdue, and a logical choice if we get another one (since i don't think we will get Blasto). But...

Well, at the end of the comic series it did say "To be continued in Mass Effect 3" so evidentally they have plans for Omega.

However, I was kind of perplexed that Omega was not a standard sidemission for the main game after Aria talked my ear off after my own wish, so I'm glad it's a go after all.
I see insurmountable odds coming naturally with Omega, kinda like Tuchanka with Kalros. So bad I'd have to degrade to trivial mode in order to show them who's boss! XD And maybe Aria could even throw her lot in with us as a sidekick or maybe with her own little army to kick the Delusive Man in the nuts (which I'd allow her to this one time, for Omega).
And what about Patriarch? Sure could use a krogan on my team again. Matter of fact it's kind of sad without...

- Aria as an OPTIONAL romance (and yes it can happen dont tell
me it can't or would be out of place or weird that is why I said
OPTIONAL lol, those that have always wanted to romance Aria,
like me, can and those who don't well don't)
- Aria as a temporary squadmate
- adds a new multiplayer map ( I personally never played Multiplayer
and could care less about it all together I just threw this in to please
all the multiplayer fanboys)
- some how expand on the Aria, Aleena, Wrex story (maybe Wrex could
be a temporary squadmate some how.
- Adds a new hub world to explore
- some how help Aria find out who murdered her daughter
(Kai Leng murdered her daughter by the way)
- help Aria take back Omega from Cerberus

All I saw was this and agree whole heartdly. Would make good story since you can pretty much toast:
Thane
Miranda(If she died)
And Aria's daughter
Would be cool to add that to where you stab Kai Leng and say:
"This is for Thane, (Miranda), and Aria's daughter you son of a ****!"

For afterlife...obviously! nobody wants to go dancing on the citadel...
Aha, the music at Purgatory is so bad!
And Aria as a squadmate would be cool. But a random character? Nah. I'd rather get someone from ME2 back.

Would be nice to see Patriarch again...see if he tries to persuade you to betray Aria and give him Omega in exchange for some more Krogan support. And really want to find out if Aria is Wrex's long lost adversary.

Aria as a team mate would be epic! Also agree with the notion of making it a hub worth revisiting.
I guess I'm mostly just hoping they show us a lot more of Omega (and possibly Afterlife) and really make it gorgeous (in a super depressed, grimy, Blade Runner-ish kind of way). I want to see Aria in action being a badass. I want to see sexy dancers shaking their money makers. I want to hear the Afterlife song again (I ALWAYS set my cabin music to that song in ME2. Wish it was avail in ME3.). A temp or a permanent squad mate would be good. I can't think of any other than what the OP posted atm...
Beyond that I don't have any brilliant ideas. This is def one I'd be interested in seeing. If they make it at all, I hope they make it awesome and that there are some surprises. So yeah...a lot more Aria, a lot more Omega, and a lot more dancers
How would Aria even get back to Omega? Is she dead? Last I checked she was on the Citadel when it got hijacked and sent to Earth.
Heck how would we get to Omega? With no Mass Relays?

I'm actually starting to wonder with Aria being on the Citadel so near to the end if there will be an Omega SP DLC. Hudson and company have lied to us countless times already, and they haven't confirmed any single player downloadable content packages either, give the extended cut and I am not sure I would really consider that a DLC or more of a large patch. What we've seen or heard about has been more to do with MP DLC's then anything. Not sure I trust the devs, especially at this point and time. I would like a single player DLC or two, but with the fallout what is the Dev teams commitment to developing such?
That's exactly my point, the writers have really written themselves into a hole with the ending no matter how much Extended Cut is done. All the Mass Relays are gone. Omega is going to be cut off and everyone on it is going to starve to death and die, at least those that can't escape on a ship but even then where would those ships go?
Also, if my Commander Shepard dies, how come I am suddenly standing back on the deck of a fully spaceworthy non-crashed Normandy?
Any DLC would have to take place in the time period before the final assault. Which is pointless, given that we already know of course how things are going to turn out; do we really want to do more stuff that's not going to matter a damn in the end anyways?
