No, really. I don't expect anything. That's partly because I have no intention of buying it, since it doesn't change the ending.

Aria as a potential squadmate*
With Omega 4-relay close by, it would make sense if Cerberus had something very special in store if we tried to come close by. Maybe even to see the Collectors again, or pay a visit to a new base, or the old base? (would be nice, because The Collector Base, was quiet unimportant in ME3). Or if Omega was something more than just a space station. I definitely need to see some kind of story´twist, instead of just a cool, unimportant war (why would you do it, when you compare it to the war out there). A reaper showing up near Omega would also be kinda cool, yet a bit unoriginal*
A war. I mean the merc-bands all attacking together, fighting through some very important things Cerberus were doing, while you're having the "we're at war" feeling.*
Maybe something that could alter some things with TIM and the Cerberus base.*
Omega as a small hub, with some side-quests*
I hope to see this coming... very soon

Maybe it would be a good chance to see Cerberus and the Reapers attacking each other. That would be awesome. Atlas vs Brute anyone?
It would depend on when in the story this DLC takes place. They don't start after each other in the story until Sanctuary. If it is an Omeg based DLC it'll be more about Cerberus and not Reapers. My guess it like most Cerberus places the Reapers won't even be there, Cerberus will have the system. It'll be about taking the system back from them, Reapers will be background only.
I'm so not interested in this DLC. (People who are I have no problem with.) I don't need another Hub world. Especially in the middle of a war, I can't see Shep taking a time out to all these things. Like vehicle exploration? Yeah, Sheps really going to go cruise on a planet while Reapers are killing everyone. (Sorry, off topic rant). I never buy filler DLC, I like story stuff only. While this does flesh out the world (universe) it fleshes out a part I could care less about. I have no interest in what happens in Omega, and I hate Aria. I did her quest in one playthrough just to do it, but canon wise, my SHep doesn't even talk to Aria in ME3 and would never help her. Too many strings attatched and somehow Aria would use Shep. In the game already people talked about how Aria controlled Shep. No way, not my Shep. However, if there was an option to kill Aria....

I thought that maybe the reapers would try to harvest all life on Omega. Just like they do everywhere else. I agree with your point about vehicle exploration. It was okay in ME1. Sort of. Saren and his Geth were invading different locations, while shep was out there having fun in the Mako. In ME2 you could do the Hammerhead missions after the Collector base, so that made more sense. And about the hub worlds, they do make sense in ME3. To me anyway. It makes the time spent on the Citadel worthwhile because Shep is constantly gaining war assets.Asch Lavigne wrote...

It would actually be pretty cool to have a squad mate that doesn't want to be on your team.xxprokillazxx wrote...
this could be the first DLC that introduces a potential new squad mate or so i think mass effect 2 had only 2 DLC squad members (kasumi and Zaeed) Mass effect 3 only have Javik as the only DLC squad member Aria could be the next new Squad member but i don't see her joining Shepard if omega is retaken she would just stay there and give you more war assets so my hopes for the omega DLC is that something happens to omega maybe the reapers destroy it or maybe Cerberus sabotages omega making it blow up or something the point is omega destroyed that would force Aria to join Shepard in the Normandy she has no where to go.

I don't see Aria joining PERIOD. No way would Aria let someone else call the shots for her. I can't see her working for Shep, its the other way around.

or
Omega is lost no matter what and Aria is a squaddie.
We'll definitely see the adjunct enemy from the comic too.

If that's the case then I really don't need another squad mate. I'm happy with a couple new weapons and bonus power. I want quality mission based dlc.

Also, they could probably get that strange Reaper experiment from the comics as an enemy type (besides Cerberus) and make it a new unit in the Reaper army(Even in multiplayer.)

Omega DLC ---->
"recruit the space-hamster, and unearth a lost treasures on the Hamster homeworld of Orgasmo. Gain new war assets including the legendary general: Hammy the hamster.
Find new weapons and upgrades featuring the Ancient hamster seed dispenser/launcher, and invaluable Hamster Heavy Hitter Armor.
including new conversation options to allow commander shepard to ask his hamster ally how in the hell it survived; a suicide mission, a collector attack, and the invasion of earth."
Download this, and maybe, just maybe this hamster soldier/biotic vanguard/infiltrator can help win this war...

I'm actually starting to wonder with Aria being on the Citadel so near to the end if there will be an Omega SP DLC. Hudson and company have lied to us countless times already, and they haven't confirmed any single player downloadable content packages either, give the extended cut and I am not sure I would really consider that a DLC or more of a large patch. What we've seen or heard about has been more to do with MP DLC's then anything. Not sure I trust the devs, especially at this point and time. I would like a single player DLC or two, but with the fallout what is the Dev teams commitment to developing such?
That's exactly my point, the writers have really written themselves into a hole with the ending no matter how much Extended Cut is done. All the Mass Relays are gone. Omega is going to be cut off and everyone on it is going to starve to death and die, at least those that can't escape on a ship but even then where would those ships go?
Also, if my Commander Shepard dies, how come I am suddenly standing back on the deck of a fully spaceworthy non-crashed Normandy?
Any DLC would have to take place in the time period before the final assault. Which is pointless, given that we already know of course how things are going to turn out; do we really want to do more stuff that's not going to matter a damn in the end anyways?

Maybe it was all a dream and we all we all will go back to normal? lol

Or it could be because it was his only way of securing the Human-Reaper Brain/Heart from the end of ME2, which is later brought up in Priority: Cerberus Headquarters.Sweawm wrote...

What is Cerberus doing in Omega again?
Cerberus invaded and took over Omega to better secure the Omega Four Relay, which leads to the Collector Base of course. I know, it really isn't touched on much why the hell the Illusive Man would seize the de-facto capital of the Terminus Systems. Obviously, just because he's Indoctrinated.
