Hi.

This is the second time that I've wasted about an hour trying to get Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition set back up on my computer.

What I am requesting is that EA and GameStop work together at this one. For the most part, GameStop keeps the games totally up-to-date. So, I assume that it works, like all other games. But, Dragon Age doesn't say that it has an update available. All I am requesting is that the updater works with GameStop, because it is rather confusing not understanding why the game won't work.

I used to do manual downloads of patches, so eventually, I go and get the 1.05 patch and everything works, but wasting hours trying to resolve this is pretty shoddy.

Please co-ordinate better. I don't know if this has to do with GameStop or with EA/Bioware. Please let people know that all they need to do is get the 1.05 patch, but at the same time, I would expect that things should work right off the install like everything else.

Thanks for your time. May this never happen again.

You've posted this in a player-to-player forum that hasn't seen a BioWare-labeled avatar (except to announce something) in over a year. Just thought you should know that saying something here is unlikely to be seen by any eyes that matter for your purpose.

Oh, and EA doesn't really care if some other digital download service doesn't work well with their games, since they now have their own; "EA: Origin".

Lastly, the 1.05 patch was not automatically detected or offered for install by ANY in-game mechanism at all. Everyone had to go to the patch page and obtain/install it manually.
