If this so-called "clarification" DLC sweetens ME3's endings, are you going to change your feelings about BioWare, or are you still going to look at them with distrust or suspicion?

I'll still look at them with suspicion, and I might not even follow the next Mass Effect trilogy at all. I am not going to buy a game from a developer who burns their own fans.

It will take Bioware a few years to make me fully trust them again. I had my suspicions since DA2, but sadly, I didn't see ME3's ending coming still. I won't make the same mistake again.

I'm hoping it makes the ending bare-able enough for me close the door on ME and stop following all ME related news.
Far as following Bio??? Eh, probably fair to say I'm done with em.

I don't fully trust them anymore and I doubt the DLC will change anything about that (I do have hope for it though).

Something is broken. ME3's endings were the last straw, DA2 killed it for me. Right after DA2, I remember playing BG1 and 2 for the billionth time, and it broke my heart to see how much Bioware had changed.

Honestly, I'll wait and see what the ECE DLC will show. But considering that they've said they will not change the ending, I believe that there's going to be a lot of retcon going on.

It would have to be damn near perfect for me to stick with Bioware after this. I highly doubt it will be though.

I'm more pissed about their PR campaign bs than the game at this point.

No, it will ease some of the irritation but to me, this entire game needs to go back to the drawing board and done again. After playing through ME 1 and 2 again the glaring disconnect from those 2 games becomes more tiresome. The problem is ME 3 while a good GAME, is a serious cop-out when it came to story telling. It had excellent moments but the connections to the previous mass effect games just were not there, in my opinion mass effect 3 answered 1 quesion and asked about 100 new ones with no promise of ever answering them.

I'm already less angry at them for making some effort to clarify some issues. I'll be less than eager to jump into the next Mass Effect game so blindly though.

I had a hunch something like this would happen after hearing about the lore error incident in the new novel Mass Effect Deception. I'm starting to think that BioWare doesn't care about the series anymore, but that remains to be seen.

Well, some people would go pirate thier games online if they ended up screwing over the fans. SOME people, not me of course.

I don't know if I'll ever trust Bioware as much as I did before. If they do fix the ending, I'll consider taking a chance on their future products.

If they don't, then ME3 will be the last Bioware product I ever purchase.

I'll likely still play Bioware games, but unsure about pre-ordering. Heck, may just buy used. IMO their rep has taken a bit of a beating and they need to work on repairing it.

Any further Mass Effect games though would likely have to be set in another cycle or at some point past ME3 for me to be interested. Not sure what Bioware could do with a story that ran alongside the ME franchise or just as humanity is leaving Sol for me to be interested.

Oh, I still won't trust them. The trust was destroyed not by the ending being so horrible - everyone makes mistakes - but by their abysmal mishandling of the situation. What it will do, however, is keep me interested in potentially buying their product. Not preordering, ever again, and not buying on release day, but provided user reviews show it's good, I'll still be interested. If they don't fix it, and especially if they keep that attitude, they could make the most amazing game ever that makes every other game, even their previous ones, as dull and lifeless as kick the can, and I still would rather hold up my money and light it on fire with them watching than give it to them.

I don't have any plans to purchase from BW anytime soon, and that is regardless of the Extended DLC.

There are better games with better stories out there; that also have endings that I don't have to wait 4 months to be explained to me.

Pretty much exactly how I feel. Except I'm gonna need another Baldurs Gate to forgive.

I don't know if I've ever trusted a game developer, and especially not Bioware after DA2 and SWTOR, but I'm sure with a decent DLC and some time I'll consider buying their next game at least...after reading many player reviews.

It would still take a long time for me to trust them.

In the unlikely event they would stick to the indoctrination theory and release THAT, then I would worship them as gods (gods who are quite mean to their worshippers by waiting so long, but still gods).

If, in the abysmally small chance that they actually do deliver what was asked for(e.g. a fixed ending as opposed to a polished mound of ****), I will have regained faith in the devs, however, I will still detest EA for having MBAs managing their devs instead of human beings. Also, I will avoid EA products as much as possible due to their despicable PR tactics.

Short version: If they add more that they've said and deliver what was promised pre-release, I may well buy Bioware products in the future. EA will still be at a new low though.

No satisfying some folks the games are great otherwise you wouldn't be on the forums. How many companies would have ignored the fans I'd wager most. Bioware has responded give them a chance they might surprise you.

I wouldn't trust them again anytime soon - the lies and the dickish attitude has made that true - but I would be a bit more... not forgiving but certainly more likely to buy their products again.

Of course, I'd have a lot more positive things to say if they just opened their damn mouths and talked to their fanbase. >.<

OP its EA's fault too.
I'm no longer buying any EA games.
