Many people seems to think that a Geth Turret is only good for shield healing, and some people actually gets offended if you use your turret offensively. Well, i disagree. I think the Geth Pyro is a very fun and a very viable build, even on gold.
People don't get offended, it's just that by speccing your turret for support, you improve your entiere team overall DPS by allowing them to play more boldly and pressure in situations where survival should have been prioritized.
The flamer turret will bring more DPS on lower difficulty with uncoordinated teammates (= selfish build.), the support turret will completely outshine it on gold with a good team (= team/synergy build.)
In every single multiplayer game in existence, healing is a tool to deal more damages by shrugging off retaliation/keeping the pressure when you shouldn't be able to. "Selfish builds" will always be overshadowed by well oiled "Team builds."
It is especially true with the Geth Engineer in this game, because he has overload, which is completely broken with disruptor ammos, provided you are using a weapon with high ammunition proc chances, the flamer turret is the last thing he needs to do more damages.
I don't have time, or need, to throw a turret for flamer proc when everything in front of me dies from constant Tech Bursts.

Frequency upgrade reduces the interval to 5 seconds, not 3.2...
Increase the frequency of restoring shields
by 60%,
60% of 8 seconds = 4,8 seconds
8 - 4,8 = 3,2 seconds
So unless the tooltip description is wrong... It should be 3,2
