Given the vast plethora of armour that appeared in both ME1 and 2, it feels to me like a huge waste that the devs spent so long modelling and skinning them, could've used them to spice up multiplayer visuals, but didn't implement them for the characters, who kit-wise are almost ALL twinned (with the exception of the Krogan Vanguard)
It would've been nice to have visually distinct classes within a race (Krogan Sentinel/Soldier really springs to mind), especially when you look at some of these:
-Chief Weyrloc Guld/various Blood Pack leaders (ME2):

I would LOVE to charge around as a Krogan Soldier in the first one!
A helmet on/off option for the salarian, asari, krogan, or turian chars, heck even alternate armour part options would make customization that much meatier!
