Anyone else think TECH is still weaker than BIOTICS

Throw OR Pull was better than Cryo Blast.  Cryo Blast was a gimped ability (4.5s cd versus 3s cd for similar Biotic CC), there are several posts in ME2 Strategy builds decrying it for anything other than a flavor power.

30s CD for Squadmates is insanely high.  Drone doesn't last that long on Insanity, and it locks out their other powers.  Shep's CD for Drone was great, but once again, Tech < Biotics.

Warp could combo.  Overload couldn't.

We're arguing Biotics > Tech, not classes.  Engineers could definitely get Reave, but Reave is still a Biotic power.

And Shockwave was not a flavor power? Except the Drone does way more damage and can distract a lot better than say Pull. Basically Biotics couldn't control anything in ME2 until you strip every defense, but Drone could distract the enemy regardless. Reave was never that impressive to me since I always felt like it was a more gimped version of Warp that couldn't curve. But since we are just comparing Biotics to Tech, then Reave should be compared to Energy Drain and I would take Energy Drain any day over Reave.

Warp and Reave both did double damage to barriers and armor in ME2. Area Reave, while not having huge damage output, is a viable alternative to Incinerate for armor stripping multiple husks (it's best anti-armor use).

Reave is vastly superior to Energy Drain for the majority of the game, especially if it is on Shepard.  While the health refill and buff mechanic is nice, locking down organics and Geth is at least as useful.

I don't know why there is this odd argument about ME2.  The combat mechanics in that game had a useful role for weapons, tech and biotics, which isn't quite the case in ME3 where most everything works on most everything, but guns are relatively less useful with a few exceptions.

Reave seemed redundant for an Adept, however the best power is obviously the "bugged" Stasis.

I actually prefer ME2's version of Stasis (without the damage bug). That was a pure CC ability, in ME3 everything has to explode the next second. Would be nice having a biotic power that doesn't go boom the next second, thats pretty boring imo.
