I cant beleive this image is real. They lost me this time. This is very insulting towards the fans and all of those who spent countless hours writing fan fiction as "constructive" feedback, as Casey Hudson wished.

They have some twisted minds at Bioware to have agreed to this image in their communication department. They knew this would ****** of the fans but they went for it anyway. It really shows that they dont care, as an organization, about how their fans felt towards the ending. May be a few employees care, but the corporation itself is showing its true colors.

May be they will milk some more cash out of ME3 with this ad, but in the long run it will hurt more.

Can't say I'm surprised; these are the same people who claimed Arrival was a "Fan favourite," and that ME3's endings couldn't be classified as A B or C.

I liked Arrival...

And I've been with the franchise since day one.

To be fair, the e-mail came from EA (MassEffect@em.ea.com to be exact). I kind of doubt BioWare had anything to do with sending it out.

I don't.

Seems like something Mac or Casey would do at this point.

Which is fine, but the general reaction was "Its a monotonous shooting gallery with music that saves it from being a complete waste of time."

someone just pointed out the email came from EA so I'm not too mad. Kind of expect this kind of behavior, kind of how you expect the moustache twirling villain to kidnap your woman and tie her to train tracks. expected.

Yup. EA is about as dirty a corporation as exists.

Pretty much this.  It's worse than rubbing salt in the wound.  I even checked the date on the e-mail in case it was a really late April Fools joke. After exhausting that slim hope, I was pretty pissed off at the gall of the PR/advertising people who thought that was a good idea.

Seriously I doubt they would do this.  I just can't believe it of BioWare.

they might have thought things have cooled off so that they can try to spin this, that or EA really wants to gut them. if this was EA they really need to be told to stop "helping" bio lol.

You know whats funny and very ironic? They talk about "artistic integrity"... How about business ethics? If they are so attached to their artistic integrity, they should be even more concerned about their actions as a business and how this will be perceived. Some of you say it is EA who has sent this image... no one from Bioware sits in these communication/marketing meeting? Cmon.

Can't be, no one is that stupid/clueless.

Oh its real.

We lack the proper data to come to consensus at this time, however if this image is true as the posts being made in this thread lead us to believe, then this mobile platform wishes that it could shed tears.

Use logic.
First, the quote. I linked to the ad with the quote from Entertainment weekly.
Second, the image we know as Bioware.
Three, all over the internet, not just here claims to have gotten this email.

Yeah, with what we've seen so far done by Bioware, it seems rather plausible of them, even.
