I have an indoor level consisting of 3 rooms, 2 open areas surrounded by walls and 1 tunnel connecting them. I put a static point light in each room. Render lightmaps and I get nothing but black. I switched all the lights to be ambient baked lights, render lightmaps, still black.
As a test I create a brand new indoor level. Place 1 floor model and an ambient light. Render lightmaps and it works. I create a 2nd room, which should not be affected by light from the first since it is a separate room and it is outside the range of the light anyway. Render the lightmaps and the light from the first room lights both rooms. Open up the room properties and verified that the 2 rooms were not listed in each other's Lit list.
The new version of the lightmapper which was supposed to fix the sunlight didn't fix anything. My outdoor levels still don't receive sunlight.
Lightmaps pretty much not working at all.
