It's 100% true. The biggest negative reaction to a video game ending I've ever seen at least. It doesn't say "good" reaction.

You're pissed at EW for saying something true? Seriously?

Damn, no wonder y'all keep ranting about how BioWare lied to you.

Again I don't think EA paid for this if they did it would look like Michael Bay made it with huge explosions and also it would be 98374598437598437 million perfect scores with all of them 15 out of 10.

It's clever and it's true, whether like it or not.

EA is a business not your dear old granny, brother, sister, mother, father, friend or faithful little puppy.

Has anyone read the full article or perhaps have a link to it? If not then you are seeing a single quote taken out of context. Judging it without knowing what the full article is saying is simply foolish.

Lol! I was going to post a thread about that email advertising the game with that partial quote in it. What a joke.

Its not about what the full article says, its HOW the partial quote is used in the advertisement.

The way it is presented is a lie of omission.

You people, AGAIN, fail and reading comprehension.

That statement is quite true.
Be the reaction good or bad, it's still huge.

But yeah, they should have added "self entitled" in there.

It is only half true. While it is true it provoked they largest response in gaming so far they omit the fact that it was a very negative response. Thus making it a lie of omission.

If I was Bioware I would be completely ashamed to have that printed publicly.

Guess I am confused then... the thread title accuses EW of trolling because of the quoted text.  If the issue is how the ad used the quote then it should be aimed at the advertising department for using it.

It is not a lie in ANY way. It claims that no game has created the fan reaction that ME3 has. That is a statement of truth, whether you like it or not. BioWare is going to make money off your hissyfit.

Good for BioWare.

It's reality. Deal with it.

They are not also your diary, blog or personal spokesmen.

They are not there to further your agenda or PoV, thats your job not theirs and they have their own agenda.

In fact I am of the belief that for all the temper tantrums, all the seeking validation through media and huff and puff... It is all created and generating more sales in the first place and keeping it in the forefront as far as free advertising goes. I know people who bought it just because wanted to find out what all the fuss was about. The bigger deal you make of it, the more people will be interested in finding out for themselves.

I do, actually. Thank you for the condescension. Nothing in that ad is untrue. BioWare has been, and will continue to make money off of your hissyfits.

Good for BioWare.

Its a reality that people dislike the ending deal with it. Its also a reality that when you look at gaming sites like IGN and all them they have ads for mass effect 3 everywhere which means they get money from EA. If you have a problem with people the way people are posting on here then leave and live under a rock for all I care. But don't be saying your tried of hearing about all of it when your the one that comes into the post that are label stuff about the ending or stuff about bioware and EA lying to there consumers. So again leave don't read them you have a choice so use it.
