Depends on if Guild Wars 2 even comes out this year. It's been postponed so many times.

Agree on the Diablo 3 part, I don't like it very much myself, but it WILL win everything. I *might* buy it if someone I trust tells me it's beyond spectacular and that I will be a social recluse for not playing it.

No Diablo 3 for me. I played Diablo 1&2 for a thousand hours over the years, easy. And the "Killing monsters to get better loot to kill more powerful monsters to get even better loot to kill even more powerful monsters, etc...." concept has just run dry in my opinion.

Repetitive tasks can go one of two ways. They can get boring, or addictive. For most people, Diablo goes the latter route.

Because you guys keep bringing it up, others will buy/rent/give money to ea from curiosity to see just how bad this ending is, or youtube it.

Your basically the parents who protest new movies, and that end up making them popular instead.

How does renting or buying it used giving money to EA?  Considering EA is trying to destroy those two industries.

Those rental businesses pay to have those games there, and give a small percentage to the company they're renting from. It's small, but it's still a profit.

Also, if EA was smart, they'd buy all the advertisment spots for the youtube videos about the ending. Make sure that no matter what, they're getting some form of money from everyone.

Best example - they released a DLC with TRUE ending to Asura's Wrath (leaving people without the DLC with an incomplete product, and forcing everyone to buy the acctual ending), and, which is even funnier, the "true" ending everyone had to pay for is WORSE than the ending from the vanilla game.

And they did it to try and jump on a craze they thought was there from this fanbase.

The thought that people want new endings for all games, not sure if this is true but it certainly feels true.

Thoguh they didn't make you have to buy a brand new copy of the game to get the dlc content, I guess only fighting games get that treatment.

While true it was very much optional. The endings in the game are fine as they are. Much better than ME3's (not that that would be a difficult task).

More that it was misadvertised in an illegal sense and promised me things very specifically that I never got.

No offense, but the FTC is meant for illegal advertising, the BBB is just an oversight committee that is a good-will type program and isn't governmental. You should be reporting it to the FTC, not the BBB.

It implies the ending has had a positive reaction, not the entire game.
