Personally, I think it's pretty clear that Garrus is "straight" but I know they're are plently of gay male players out there that love him dearly. I wonder if there was any real discussion of making Garrus "come out of the closet" much like Kaiden did.

Well she adapted to Shepard in like one night, and she hooks up with Garrus if you don't romance either of them so yeah she'd probably be fine.
