That's exactly what I expected to see in the game. At about a half of the story, I abandoned all hope.

Also, add masks to the list. At least for eyes or something.

I think I would feel better about that hats if most of them weren't light blue. At least the usable ones I came across with.
It may sound silly to some, but I like it when the colors match. And those hats didn't really match with most of the robes. To put it mildly.

<.< its a fearsome looking hat. I like the dangly bobs and the doodads that sorta frame my mages face...although it was startling at first to see one I expected more cowl..less..point..it sort of distracts the eye from her spindly little sticklegs in the legwarmers that she's wearing.

The mage hats are so ugly that I decided I didn't need one. I haven't looked back since. Now when I occasionally see a DA video (I was just browsing YouTube) with a mage wearing a hat on I think "what the hell is that thing... oh yeah"

The robes are relatively alright. They're just too scarce and unvaried. I'd like more civilized robes such as the ones employed by the circle.

The hats are atrocious, though. No redeeming qualities at all. There's no excuse for looking like a complete nit.

Edit: Tiaras and headbands are both excellent suggestions.

Frankly, some DO look good for ceremonial stuff (those high-tops with golden decorations and what not), but what passes for a cowl is just plain bad and it doesn't connect well with the your robes so... yeah.

Hide helmet, preferably soon.

I would be happy if some dev just told the modders how to import meshes (or whatever the problem is, I'm not a modder, but I'm assuming the reason there are hardly any new models of things is because of some type of block with the editor) and then we could have things like better looking hoods, hats, etc.

I just don't use hoods in this game, they look so idiotic i can't help myself to smirk when i see them on a character. Worst headgear design ever. Kinda odd since the heavy armor gear is rely awesome, specially the Duty Helmet.

The robes are alright, the witches robes or whatever they're called bought from the magic shop in denerim look hot on Morrigan but the hats do suck, I don't mind the cowls though but there isn't many good ones so it doesn't matter anyway
