Here is the situation.

I have been playing fine since launch.  About three days ago the game started to freeze when I tried to load missions. Sometimes it would freeze at the squad selection screen, othertimes it would not load at all. This issue occured prior to me downloading the most current patch.  The issue also occured for both of my careers, one career just finished Mars and my main is about to start the end of the game.

I do have the "From Ashes" DLC installed.

Steps I have taken to resolve the issue.

1. Clear my cache
2. Move my save game files to a USB drive.
3. Set my system clock to 11/15/2005

Nothing worked.  I can start a new career, and I am playing fine at the moment, but I don't want to spend another 30 plus hours playing and have the same issue arise again. 

Does anyone have any ideas or perhaps a reason for why this is happening.

Same for me. Before the patch the game freeze every 2/3 hours...during battles, loading screens, menu... AFTER THE PATCH the game freeze every 2/5 min!!! I can't play!

So apparently the firing range in the Spectre office is off-limits. Never had this problem until the patch, but my Xbox freezes on the black loading screen every time. Not cool...
