If you enjoy the walktrough or halfway get excited to play , then buy it and play it .

You don´t need review to enjoy a game , since they are all publishers game .. GREAT GAME FABULOUS GAME , MUST BUY ....

You don´t need outside input to make up your own opnion .

watching a walkthrough playthrough won't tell me if the overall story is poor...and i need a bit of outside influence before I make my opinion...because making my opinion involves purchasing the game which is moneyy

Why ? it is entertainement money , when you go out and drink a beer or go to a pub .
Do you know the outcome if it was a succesfull evening or a FAIL evening .

Games used to be like that , he this developer made a good game , it never let me down .
So I spent the money on it , bleh don´t like the sequel ok I stop spending money .
Sure reviews used to be justified and scores were a way to tell people who don´t like TLDR a way of measurement .

But sadly all the reviews magazine and site need to live . so income greater then objective journalisme.
So basically it says enough about money , now you are worried about spending money .
Then don´t spent it , if you spent money make sure you can afford it .

A video walkthrough will tell you far more then some second rate opinion written from the writers own perspective.

Video walkthrough is spoiler no matter how long or where from it is. Instead I read the words of multiple reviews, preferably not someone too big and tainted, not paying attention to the scores. If the review is just "Amazing, Woah Wow" then it's worthless though, every game has downsides and if they are just ignored something is wrong with the review. Even if the reviewer can forgive the errors he should never assume everyone else can. The other thing is the lack of explanation of features such as game modes, number of players etc. "This game has multiplayer and it's good" lol.

Way too much emphasis on score and summary "10/10 undoubtedly the best game ever we must thank the creators wooot buy now"

Nothing on that advert is a lie. To all those silly people out there who thought baking cupcakes, posting insulting messages and trolling everything and anything remotely connected with ME3 would somehow bring down EA/Bioware or get them to roll over like a puppy and respond to your every whim....LOLS!
