First of all let me say i like the new characters introduced, i really like how edi was handled and vega is alright.

But seriously why didnt wrex join up with shepard. He is the only character from ME1 who doesnt, and he is just as awesome of a character as the rest of them and one of my personal favorite characters in ME series(he is so much better than grunt).

but in ME3 he just disapears halfway thru the game and the the worst part is that the way bioware handled it really goes against his character and the fundamental idea of your choices affecting the ME universe and is IMO one of the BIGGEST  mistakes made in ME3

this is what bioware should have done to let people get wrex to join their squad

In ME1 you have to save Wrex and the rachnii queen

In ME2 you have to get grunts loyalty and he has to survive and you have to get mordins loyalty and save maelon's data( i believe this is a requesite for eve surviving in ME3)

In ME3 you must do the rachnii mission saving the queen and having grunt survive then you must cure the genophage and have eve survive.

At this point(after tuchanka mission) wrex joins shepard on the normandy leaving eve in charge on tuchanka with grunt as her personal bodyguard

He could stay in the war room as he is constantly coordinating with tuchanka and krogan forces on palaven and part of their dialogue could be shepard becoming a member of clan urdnot and getting a deeper insight into krogan culture and wrex himself

THIS SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED. Wrex would want to fight alongside shepard and it would of been a great way to make our previous choices have impact as this would be the only scenario in which wrex joins and there would be no other krogan substitute. Either you do this and get wrex or you get nobody

i dont know if it is possible to make dlc that fixes this but i honestly would pay 10 bucks for it if bioware made it(SERIOUSLY BIOWARE DO THIS)

Please comment and let me know if anyone else thought wrex should have been playable

Wrex's absence actually made sense. That said, I was still very sad when he didn't join up. We didn't even get to have a conversation with him at the end.

Wrex has to keep those narrow-sighted fools in line.

Reminds me of back after the script leak, when a bunch of people assumed Tali had "stole" Miranda's spot. There were some nasty threads over that one, I can tell you.

Would have been nice to have Wrex on your squad at least up until genophage is cured and he has to rule his people and you know...

Wrex had a legit reason to not be a squad member. Same goes with Legion, Thane and Mordin.

Eve would be leading the krogan wrex would say something like "she can do this better than i can" and tell shepard that "you gave the krogan their future now we need to fight for that future" and most krogan would be joining the battle for earth

Which is something bioware really needed to represent better in the game

To me the fact that Wrex was gone made sense. Keeping camand/control over ALL Krogan is a pretty large and time consuming task.

I would've just liked to have at least one Krogan. I always used them in my squad. So I wish I could've got Grunt. I really wanted him on my team after his extremely Bad A** moment defeating those Rachni Reapers. But sadly I didnt get him.

I liked Vega though. I thought he was a good adition. I just wanted Grunt as well

All he was doing in ME3 was sitting in a chair. He didn't join then why would he join now.

I agree that after Tuchanka/Genophage cure, Wrex needs to keep a lid on things, but having him as a Temp squaddie for a couple of those missions might have been nice IMHO.

Don't see how they came to that conclusion considering Tali has been an established character since ME1.

A lot of Miranda fans had this thery that she was supposed to be really important because she was so hard to kill off in the suicide mission. Then there was some statement made by Chris Priestly about how Tali's popularity with the fans was a factor in getting her a squad spot in ME3 and that there was a chance that she may not have gotten in otherwise, and conclusions were then jumped to.

I was sad he wasn't a temp for Surkesh at least. I wanted to smash some smug Salarin faces with him.

Because

1) Not everyone saved him in ME1

2) Not everyone played ME1, and thus he wouldn't appear in other playthroughs

that is the point our choices should matter and impact the game. if you didnt save him obviously you dont get him(this is how the game currently is anyway so you cant really complain about that)

But if you did save him then it should be POSSIBLE to get him to join.

This is an example of player choices affecting the mass effect experience
