This is a screenshot of the email from the official Mass Effect 3 email. Some people doubted its autheticity. Well, there is the actually email screencapped. I feel this needed clarification to ensure that the audiance gets the full experience of the Mass Effect 3 experience.

You have the "potential" to possibly wipe out everything in the universe.
Isn't that enough?
These kind of things are used to try and save sales. You can see them on the front of DVD's with descriptions like "FREAKING' AWESOME".
As it turns out the endings were not like that and all this is being used to save face. They messed up and are trying to use critics to salvage sales. NO DICE.

Point out something in the picture that isn't true, the end has provoked a huge reaction and it's received lots of perfect scores.

You should see the article that they snipped that quote from, some guy posted it in another thread, it was a full article explaining how bad the ending was and what the fan reaction was. It talked about other endings provoking a big fan uproar then it said that quote.

"potentially devastating and deadly consequences from each decision."
Yeah if your a massive fan of Big Ben and don't like the colour green then your decisions are going to have huge consequences for you!

So, it seems that they are attempting to use the negative feedback as a marketing ploy. Shame on Bioware/EA if that is true.

That is wrong since the game in no way other then secondary audio dialogue that can easily be missed explains or supports any reasonlable reason or showing of anything that you do in the game as far as decisions.

Even when your game is utter crap, sneaky wording can make it look like the opposite.
