Are they trying to get us to hate them? I don't want to but they just keep doing s*** like this.

I'm just waiting for them to make that one move where I finally just say, "thats it, I'm done, goodbye Bioware/EA." I think that will depend on this Extended Cut DLC which I'm already not looking forward to.

Its actually not funny... it just shows you how terrible the rest of them are.

Acutally it is funny because fox news is the most unreliable news channel of them all. People literally come out less informed from watching it then those who have not watch any news channel.

Except MSNBC, they started their usual bull**** of calling all white people in the tea party racist and they showed a video of someone with an automatic rifle at the tea party rally. Here's the problem, one hour earlier I watched a livestream video of the same person that wasn't cropped, and they were interviewing the black guy asking him why he brought an automatic rifle to the rally.

Please do not engage in news network battles. We are here for a reason... and that reason is an asinine ad. I admit, I hate the liberal news media as much as anyone else but this Mass Effect 3 thread is not the place for it.

Speaking completely objectively - even if you support the endings 100%, and the company's direction 100% - in the context of recent events and fan feedback, this advertising campaign is in the poorest taste imaginable.

Who are all these perfect scores, anyway? PCGamer gave it a 93%, Xbox Magazine a 9.5, IGN (The 'Bought And Paid' site, according to conspiracy theorists) gave it a 95, GameSpy a 90 ... I'm going by Metacritic, by the way, and they only have two 100's.

The specifics of the e-mail are still technically true, though, below the claim of perfection. There are consequences... just not on the ending, that are visible. (I think there's the potential to make 16-plus outcomes out of the three based on decisions and mission consequences, but I'm not sure we'll see them in any DLC coming out before July.)

There was another thread on this that got locked, I think.  The basic premise there was that they went in and took foreign and user reviews.  75 perfect-score user reviews across the span of the internet, however viable they may be, EA found them.

What the hell is the hate about? Your decision DOES MATTER. If you do end up betraying the Quarians, Tali suicides and you more or less genocide the whole specie. Or you betray the created, and you might be forced to kill your own companion.

You CAN DECIDE to cure the genophage or not, and deciding on what you do, someone WILL die, and it WILL be dramatic.

Stop being so butthurt about the ending, it's annoying.

Holding the line, supporting Bioware and EA.

PS: Bioware must have the worst marketing and PR people EVER. Otherwise they're being incredible mean and assh#@~ with their clients, yeah, those stu#@~ enough to believe that we wouldn't get an A1,A2,A3 ending.

We arent saying that your choices don't matter throughout the game, we're saying your choices don't matter in deciding the ENDING. Which is argueably one of the most important parts of any story.

The choice doesn't matter, because the ending (as it is now) negates your choice. 

You say choose between Quarian and Geth? :  destroy ending, kills them both.  (All endings screw the quarians)
Genophage cure? :   What's it matter, the salarian and krogan won't see each other, or arguably their respective homeworlds again.

And didn't EA just win "worst company in America", just saying that standing up for them right now kinda makes you the bad guy by association.

It's not like the game is all bad; just that the ending was so poorly written. orchestrated, what have you...I wished more game reviewers didn't just glaze over the ending, I understand they probably didn't want to spoil the game for players, but at least say something like "The ending to this 100+ hour video trilogy feels oddly tacked on and is for the most part is completely nonsensical. Only one of the three possible endings serves to give a somewhat satisfactory closure, just barely...

I'll keep checking back untill the Extended Cut (which probably will be another kick in the quad), but with an attitude like this it's pretty sure that I won't waste anymore money on EA/Bioware...

The whole handling of the situation is so outright stupid that I'm lacking the words to describe it and it just gets worse....
