Second - EDI. I really hated my ship having a personality in 2 and to make it worse your ship possesses a robot and becomes a squadmate!?!? Then I have to deal with the Joker romance and I'm sorry but to me she's not real and that romance thing between them is sick.

Jacob. Tali a close second.
I guess I should also add Jacob to my list. I liked him in ME2 even though I had issues with how some of his dialogue was written and delivered but I did not care for how his character was butchered in ME3.
As for Tali. I liked her in ME1 ( One of my favorite charcters ) but in ME2 I found that could barely tolerate her character. The sad thing is that this is more of a reaction to her 'fan base' as apposed to the character herself. Likewise I tolerate her in ME3 but that is about it. The fact that Tali was upgraded to squadmate status just to please the Tali-mancers just grinds my gears and makes me think dark thoughts about her character.

On a more relevant note I found many characters annoying but I hated Jacob. Ugh worst generic character in a video game ever.

Least favorite character is Liara, bland character who is forced on me and I cant get rid of it.

Why hate on Diana Allers? She takes up about 10 seconds of the entire game where you tell her no and never see her again. Can barely even call her a character.

Why would you want rid of the Shadow Broker? Having one of the most powerful people in the galaxy with you is kinda useful

Liara, on the other hand ... if I had my way she'd still be in that security bubble on Therum.

- The Catalyst
(No further explanation is necessary at this point.)
- Diana Allers
(Though Di has the redeeming quality of making very few appearances throughout the game.)
- Kai Leng
(He might have been a formidable villain in the novels, but he was just a silly and clichéd bad guy that stuck out like a sore thumb in ME3.)
My least favourite characters on account of a personal dislike (while simultaneously acknowledging that they were decently written and/or acted):
- Ashley Williams
(a xenophobic, evangelical soldier girl with a 'tude)
- Samara
(her fanatical adherence to her rigid code of conduct made her almost unbearable)

I really don't like Tali, I liked her in ME1, but since ME2 I really just get annoyed when she is speaking or when is just being there. I don't really know why, but I just don't like her at all.
I do NOT hate her and I do not choose to kill her in any of my games, she is dead in only one of my playtroughs and that wasn't really intended, but I'm not going down to the engineering deck to talk to her. I rarely take her along for any of the missions except for the ones where she is needed.
I must say that if I had to choose between Legion or Tali I would choose Legion almost all the time.

Jack. never liked her. couldn't stand her attitude. Hoped she's die - but completionist me prevents me from NOT doing her loyalty mission. and i always have the right amount of para -or gade points to get her and Miranda both to stay loyal). She's a practically irredeemable sociopath. Shep would have killed her.
Kai Leng. Uninteresting, placeholder villain of utterly zero relevence to a Sheperd related game. Suffers from the Stephanie Meyers syndrome of "telling us rather than showing"
The Catalyst, frankly, to me isn't even a character. its an hallucination. nothing more.

For me, she's basically the Willow Rosenberg of the Mass Effect universe: shy and socially awkward at first, with some dark edges buried deep within her insecurities, gradually becoming one of the most powerful people in the series while remaining a trusted and loyal friend to the main hero.
