I whole-heartedly disagree with 95% was amazing. I respectfully submit this list that highlights my opinion why:

-Too much shooting
-Very linear level design
-Face import bug / neglection.
-Auto-dialogue. Way too much.
-Stripped dialogue options.
-Quest log information lacking...plus bugged.
-Lots of bugs in general. Two crashes, two stuck in open environments, four "face vanishes" in dialogue. Plus the questlog, as mentioned.
-Lack of choices meaning anything.
-Too many scan sidequests.
-Stiff animations, particularly running.
-No Harbinger dialogue.
-Vega / Allers
-Zero exploration.
-No vehicles.
-Easy to loot. Too easy.
-No inventory. Loved Deus Ex: Human Revolution's Inventory, btw.
-Too much Cerberus, not enough Reapers.
-Random XP.
-Boring final mission.

That is all before the endings.

My opinion.

A lot of these points are very reasonable and hard to contest, I would add more about Cortez and Kei-9 and their general uselessness. Additionally one could argue it did not give enough story/involvement to ME2 characters (although personally I think it was ok). Also I'll add lack of original story-arcs, most if not all were from previous games or tacked on needlessly for certain maps.

Bioware is nothing but a shadow of it's past. They earn EA good buck with their dirty business practices of ripping content so they'll remain until irrational consumers' pockets are dry.

And 95% of the game wasn't amazing?

Just because the ending was bad it automatically invalided everything else in ME3?

To me, yes.

I wish I could like the ending but honestly, it ruined the entire series for me.

I would be Outraged beyond mere words. I would honor the memory of Bioware by playing their games for as long as I could.

I'm not irrational! Hold on....  I'm going to go complete a few micro-transactions to unlock some multiplayer content.

On the one hand, I'd finally be able to start that floral design shop and solve crimes in my off-hours with my wisecracking sidekick.

On the other hand, I'd be laid off. So I'm going to go with 'no, I wouldn't be satisfied'.

I was going to say 'walk away from it without looking back', but that's also an acceptable answer.

If Bioware closed down who would I complain to about my petty problems in life? Besides, I don't want Mr. Epler out of a job. That seems a little mean-spirited to me. Especially given the fact that I enjoy Bioware games.

You're going a little too CSI. I'm more of a 'Burn Notice' type.

Well would it help if I say that I am capable of letting out the Ringwraith shriek? I could use that to terrify a suspect into cooperation.

<--- Burn Notice fan - does that mean that I get to be the Fiona-esque sidekick? Thanatos can be Sam.

There's this quest in SWTOR (on Quesh) that has your group blowing up a structure. It ends in a cutscene that features your group doing that very same 'cool slow walk away without looking back' bit. Its hard not to giggle just a little.

Whenever we play through it, My wife always yells 'I need an MRI!" Which was the line Will Farrell said in 'The Other Guys' when they parodied that chesnut.

Then I'd just make a witty line, drink a Guinness, and hand you a yogurt.

My beef is not with the employees whose jobs are already hanging on a thread. As far as I'm concerned, 90% of the people working for these studios are honest people working a job to pay their bills. A lot of them are passionate about their jobs and want to create something that they're proud of, something the fans could enjoy.

My beef is with EA's business practices, treating video games as nothing more than button-smashers and money makers. My beef is with their lack of ambitions. My beef is with their lack of respect to customers.

If they couldn't see that by now, I doubt if they ever can.

If EA closes down Bioware, they aren't going to keep the people in their basement or back room 'Misery' style. The driven employees will group together and sign onto a new studio... maybe Bethesda, or Epic... or they might just form a brand NEW studio and start from scratch -- heck they might give it a hilarious, punk-rock name like... Gamma/Explosion, or EndingHue Games, or 3-Shade Palette Softworks.

Change is not necessarily a bad thing, and while I'm sure they'll miss the EA money... They could rise higher than ever before.

But, EA closing down Bioware? Not gonna happen -- even with all the bumps in the road, Bioware is still too highly recognizable of a brand, with huge followers. EA will not risk losing THAT!
