Hi,

I've played DA:O, and am considering picking up DA2. DA2 is on both the Windows and Mac platform. I would rather play DA2 on the Mac, but is the sequel DA3 going to be on the Mac as well (or is it Windows only?). I would hate to be in the situation where my DA2 (Mac) characther can't be used in DA3 because it's only for windows.

Does anyone know much about this?

Thanks in advanced.

Even if its isnt on mac, you just copy your save files into your windows version of DA2, should be in the bioware folder in documents or something.

And no there is not any news on it being on mac, plus it uses the frostbite 2 engine, which battlefield 3 runs, so i am kinda doubting it will be on mac, but i hope it is :D

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a console exclusive...

I doubt it will have a native Mac port, not unless Bioware gets the Frostbite 2 engine to run on Mac OSX which at the moment it only runs on Windows, Playstation, Wii U and XBox. Bioware has to decide if they will modify the engine to run on Mac OSX. It is possible since Bioware will have to make extensive modifications to the engine for DA3.
