Have you read the article they quoted this from...okay then..
it is not even taken out of context...the article is not one you would argee with & it is defending the ending...
Also I have worked where I HAD to say misleading things to get people to buy things & it lead to me quiting the company over it...unfortinatly it seems to be the norm these days...

Actually they were defending Bioware's rights , they crapped all over the ending.

They also crapped all over the people complaining about the ending. Last paragraph.

"But accusing BioWare of letting you down — you personally, you the most important person in the universe — is ridiculous. Mass Effect was their story. This is how they chose to end it. Saying that you were let down is justified. Arguing that you deserve more is just entitlement. If you made it to the end of Mass Effect 3, then BioWare supplied you with over a hundred hours of videogame  amusement, and you experienced a franchise which — in small ways and large — pushed the whole notion of videogame storytelling forward. If you feel like all that time spent with the game was wasted because you didn’t like the last few minutes… Well, no offense, but your perspective on art and the human experience kind of stinks."

You do realize what you quoted proves exactly what i stated? Please read my full statement before just me stating they crapped on the ending. Incase you forgot or cant read up "They defended Bioware's rights"

What you have quoted is them defending bioware's rights Bolding random words to try and make it look like they werent crapping on the ending =/ them not crapping on the ending.

You may notice from the subtle title of my post, 'They also' that I am actually supporting part of your comment. As further support I included the paragraph where they crap on the players complaining. The bolding there is to draw out comments for those readers who like to skim things before responding.

That your angry at me supporting you and are trying to insult me is a bit of a mystery but who knows, maybe you have had a crappy day and don't get enough hugs or lovvin.

If it helps StElmo was handing out free hugs back on page 12. Cant help you with the loving big though :)

But the final blow for me came with this image:
Image IPB

I thought the image was photoshopped when I first saw it. No more. This is an outrage. They say this like the reaction was good. It's like they wanted us to hate the ending. Did we think of that?

95% of fans hated the ending and were outraged -- just see the ad.

Now if it were 95% of fans satisfied -- "left more fans feeling overwhelmed with satisfaction at the series' conclusion than any other!"

There. Now THAT'S what I call propaganda! Goebbels would be proud of EA. <_<

I'm done with Bioware, more than likely for good. Any products of theirs
that interests me in the future will be bought pre-owned, I'm not
giving them a dime after this fiasco.

Oh I not see the sales screen nice post.
So are we a small vocal minority or the biggest fan reaction in gaming history?

It was nice to see that Bioware changed the forum rules a few days before ME 3 came out. bit off that do you not think.
EA and Bioware are taking like 5 year olds.

That evil music makes it even more scary. And even scarier, this is a real quote from the CEO of EA.

Sigh. More ME3 related overreaction. "Disgusting and shameful"? Come on. Let's at least remain based partly in reality.

That would be impossible. Because then they couldn't find ridiculous things to RAGRAGERAGE about.

Please report it to the FTC as intentionally deceptive advertising.

Reporting the endings to the BBB? Silly. This? Legal action.

Legal action for the truth? There's been fan reaction both positive and negative. So maybe you need to understand that.

It's done exactly what the quote says.

Also if you hate BW so much, then gtfo of their forums. This is a ME3 story forum, not "tell us realllly how much you hate us."

Yeah, that's not going to happen.

"I'M DONE WITH BIOWARE...but I'm still going to post on the forums because I want people to hear my whining."

Indeed, I'm not impressed at all.

First we're the vocal minority, but then EA finds a way to make it into a PR campaign and now we're no longer the vocal minority.

Funny how that works.

Legal action for this is impossible...

which is why I find the overreactions on thos forum to be comical, yet tragic and annoying at this stage. I would think people would move on but no...we got to salt the earth now every time we hear something positive or agaisnt what we believe.

I wish people would move on so the boards can go back to normal. But, sadly, they will still keep trying to yell louder than the rest of us just to let everyone know what we already know.

Source of quote:

EW:
So it makes sense that the ending of Mass Effect 3 has provoked a bigger fan reaction than any other videogame’s conclusion in the medium’s history. …The outrage over Mass Effect has quickly reached a fever pitch …

The statement is unambiguously about a negative reaction.

Integrity. Do you have it?

You might think that it makes your argument stronger that you never admit to seeing anything wrong with what you're defending. That's not the case.

I have no problem with what they're doing. I'm not really defending them, more like wishing people would finally move on with their lives.

Common sense, do you have it? I don't think you do. Even if it is negative, not everyone has the same opinion.

Woah! This is just wrong. I'm so glad I don't ever buy DLC. I have yet to purchase any that didn't come included in the game already. It's wrong and I won't stand for it. I hope EA fails as a company.

I liked the days when videogames had actual expansions, not the crap they try to pull off today.

Pretty much. But what else do you expect?

I've pretty much lost all faith in humanity at this point.

I agree with this topic, Dragon Age 2 and SWTOR were let downs and Mass Effect 3 looked as if it was going to be what redeemed them, but instead it's what is making me decide that I am done with them.

And then to top it off after giving the fans a middle finger, they do it again, guess they are trying to shoo away all the RPG fans and attract multiplayer kids who don't care about story so they can make cheap Multiplayer games and sell cheap DLC's

Bye Bioware, im not buying Dragon Age 3 or any game afterwards

Well then maybe you shouldn't hang around here anymore? Because you no longer support Bioware.
