Hi.

I bought DLC over a couple years ago when I first got DAO for the PC as they became available. I had to stop playing the game, and only now have I returned to continue to play DAO, no longer playing on my PC version but a PS3 version.
Even though I log in to my account via in game, I do not see a option to redownload the content I had without paying for it again. Is there anyway to resolve this?

Thanks

In general, DLCs are platform specific. In other words, pick a platform and stick with it.

Yeah it would be the same as buying a new game for a xbox and wanting it to work on your ps3.

I'll have to disagree with both of you on your comments. I would have been glad to stick with the PC version of the game, but things change, I have no access to a machine that can run it currently but do have now a PS3 and DAO.

And I don't agree DLC is like in any way, shape or form buying a PS3 game and wanting it to work on a XBOX.

I do understand that there are technical limitations in cross platform materials. The thing is I have bought DLC, and I have bought, and registered 2 copies of DAO. It's my opinion, regardless of which platform you own the game on, buying DLC content should be universal. And it's a shame it's not.

Well, opinions are like....well, let's just say everyone's entitled to their own. I agree with the others here, however. It is *just* like buying XBox DLC and expecting it to work on PS3. Two completely different platforms.

The alternator went out on my old Chrysler Cordoba back in the day. The one for a Chevy Monza was like half the price, but I'll be danged if it wouldn't work. WTF??

Yes, that was sarcasm. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Of course they are different platforms, I am not questioning that. I am simply saying, they offer the DLC on all platforms. Regardless of which platform you play on, if you buy DLC, you should be allowed access to download it for any platform you use. I imagine the issue is not so much on EA/Bioware, but XBOX Live or the Playstation Store. I can't say what limitations prevent the issue, but, it's just information none the less so in my mind it seems like a simple idea.

Although it seems I am in a minority in thinking this. Don't blame  me for trying to find a way to save a buck!

It is a simple idea, most of the free bonus content works like that (i.e. you get it for all platforms at once). It is different for paid content, companies most likely don't want to miss out on cash.

I'm not concerned about the price for purchasing the DLC for your average expansion and extra campaigns, but is the DLC for things like the Collectors Editions Items, Blood Dragon Armor, and various other specialty DLC items available anywhere for the XBox360 anymore? I understand the reasoning behind pre-order items, (I actually have a bunch for the PC side) but it seems extremely irritating that there's no way to get some of these for the XBox 360 3 years later. Dragon Age was released in 2009, can't some of these things like the Memory Band & Fomari Tome, the Grimoire of the Frozen Wastes, etc. be made available as currently purchasable content?
