The last scene with Tali as your LI, where she's almost in tears when she says "I want more time.." was soo moving and upsetting, wanted nothing more then to have a paragon interupt to hug her .

Likewise, while not a line, Tali crying as she watched her fleet and race wiped out.. :crying:

O Blue Rose of Illium, if these humble words reach you, then I have joined my ancestors.

My dream was to be by your side, a weed beside your beauty, twining together in the warm Tuchanka sun.

But if my last days must be with krannt instead of kindness, still, I will remember the perfume of your scent and the soft touch of your petals.

Let my broken bones build a wall around your garden, so that you and the flower we planted together can grow safe and strong.

I can't remember them all, but at many times, there was just so many moving parts of the game. They weren't even parts that you should tear up at.

The one that really strikes my mind, that made me go, wtf is wrong with me, why am i tearing up...so much nerd feels.
-When all the ships from the whole galaxy come to a stop after coming through the Sol relay. It was literally breathtaking, and awesome and dramatic all at the same time, i teared up...

Lovely moment also when Femshep turns and asks "Why did that last verse say "She"

"It would be easy for a single ship to get lost up there. To find some place very far away, where you could spend the rest of your life in peace, and happiness."

The whole scene was beautiful (she always gets the best love scenes), but that line hit me pretty hard. I almost wish that were a Renegade option... to say we should take off and let the galaxy fight its own battle for a change... or maybe try to convince her to hide someplace safe during the final battle.

[after watching the Lazarus Project vids and voicing concerns about whether you are still the real Shepard]
LIARA: I wish you'd told me, Shepard. I knew it was really you the first time I touched you again.

The delivery of that line was pitch-perfect.

LIARA: This is it, isn't it?
SHEPARD: Yeah. This is it.
LIARA: I don't know what to say. All those little blue children will be disappointed I didn't have a speech.
SHEPARD: We'll make up a good story for them.

[Liara gives Shepard one final gift]
LIARA: Thank you... for everything. I love you.

My thought process: "BioWare are laying the goodbyes on pretty thick. This is not going to end well."

... and Mordin's final lines, of course.

EDIT: I forgot a big one...

LIARA: I abandoned my people to hunt for the Catalyst!
SHEPARD: You'd never do that.
LIARA: [tears streaming down her face] THEY'RE DYING BY THE MILLIONS! I told those people on Thessia we would save them! How many asari died because I demanded their help?
SHEPARD: [Paragon Interrupt] None.
LIARA: Shepard, that isn't true.
SHEPARD: You've been warning your people for four years, Liara. There's not a damn thing you should feel guilty about. If we move fast enough, they'll have a chance to survive this... to start again. We lost Thessia, but we haven't lost the asari yet.

These ALL got me sooo bad... Especially Liara's goodbye. :crying:

When Garrus and FemShep are close to tears in London. Femshep says he will never be alone and Garrus gives a sobby sigh and says "never".
I cried a lot through out the game but that one has always stuck in my mind.

Plenty of them has been said, but one of the recent ones in my latest playthrough:
Killing the geth-ai in rannoch after the reaper was destroyed and after seeing that they were just defending themselves. I dont remember what he actually said but I am amazed how hurt a single flashlight head can look when you shoot him (several times). On the other hand, it was either quarians or them in that playthrough.

Grunt: Go Shepard, i hold them!

Mordin: I made a mistake!

Wrex: From now, Shepard means Hero

Legion: Does this unit have soul?
Tali: Legion, answer was Yes!
Legion: I know Tali, Keelah se'lai

Tali: "I love you."
Shep: "Kee'lah Selai."

Tali: Thing you said on Rannoch, you mean it?
Shepard: Yes
Tali: I want more time

one that choked me up the most was with the romance with Tali the goodbye talk with her at the end before going off for the final battle where she says "I want more time". I almost shed a man tear at that point.

This ^_^

Those lines were best i think

So sad cause the geth were so misunderstood by the greater galactic society.

In fact alot of what was said by the Geth when they first gained "sentience" was actually very sad, mainly cause of how everyone had contorted it with bias and fear of the "Synthetic evil"

Garrus bro... love you more than my LI <3

My favourite was "Does this unit...have a...soul?" "Yes..."  Such a touching moment, especially that little reference to the lore.

After having played all of the game up to the London FOB three times now. I have to say that the part that always sends a shiver up my spine is the scene on Tuchanka with the krogan tonka spilling over the dunes, gathering to attack the Reaper keeping you from curing the genophage while that haunting anthem plays in the background. It sends shivers up my spine every. single. time.

The ending needed to evoke at least that much emotion (in a satisfying way) from me in order to succeed.

Garrus bromance:
The lines from Shepard here are at 2:22 really sting, seeing how Garrus and the rest of the crew apparently left you to die-
http://www.youtube.c...cGMYg5Eg#t=135s

"Times like these, you know who your real friends are. They're not the ones running around looking for an escape route. They're the ones who stand at your side through the worst of it, who never give up on you. I'm lucky I can say I know someone like that"

i don't get what you mean here, are you saying shep is attacking Garrus and the rest of the crew for abandoning him?

Vormaerin wrote...

What, are you trying to claim they abandoned him when the Normandy was destroyed?   As in, they were suppposed to realize from inside the lifepods that Shepard wasn't on any of them?  I suppose they were going to bust open the escape pod and float around in space looking for your decompressing body?    After all, humans can survive about 90 seconds in vaccuum before its too late.  I'm sure they could totally have found and rescued him in that time.

Let me clarify:

I mean that this line got me emotionally on my 2nd playthrough, in light of what happens in the ending of ME3, when the Normandy and your crew appear to have left you for dead.

I did not mean it about the events of ME2. They SAW Shepard die there.

"I made a mistake !"
"Forgive the insubordination, but your boyfriend has an order for you..."
"I know, Tali. Kee'lah Selai"
"Those little wings are gonna raise one hell of a storm" (Possible misquote)
"Wha...what do you need me to do...?" (I broke the **** down right there)

Javik: Throw it out the airlock

Garrus: Go out there and give them hell, you were born to do this.

Anderson: You did good son, you did good.

Horrible misquote, but:

"And Garrus, if I'm on the other side looking down...I've got your back"

I don't even like Garrus. But I nearly lost it there.

An odd one, but in ME2 during Thanes recruitment mission, that one wounded Salarian guy "They were jumping off the ledges... to escape the dogs..."
I don't know why, but that was a kick to the gut.

This. A thousand times this. The Charr-Ereba romance puts any Shep-LI romance to shame.
